    I am writing this as I have reached out to Campers Inn of Kings Mountain, ******* (AC unit) and Gulf Stream (maker of the camper). We took our camper to a certified camper maintenance company. He let us know that we would need to replace our ac unit as the freon in the unit ran out. After further investigation, he found the ac unit was never installed correctly. The freeze plus should have been attached at the blue tab in the unit. It was not. It caused the freon to runout and the motor to over heart and burn up. Campers Inn gave us the run around; ******* mocked us, and Gulf Stream has not responded to the 3 separate emails I have sent. We purchased a brand new 2022 Friendship Gulf Stream 17 Ft in November of 2022.We have had to replace the ac unit this year Feb 2024.The customer service department at ********************** Inn, where this camper was purchased said they could not help up. They stated they did not service/ maintenance this specific ac brand. This ac brand was purchased by ******* and Campers Inn does not service/ maintenance this brand.And we were apparently 2 months out of the 1-year warranty.We called ******* and the customer service representative we spoke to was disgusting and mocked us. I find that very unprofessional. They did not want to help us. I emailed ******* and got a response after some time, they requested to see the images of the ac unit and the invoices where it was repaired. With all this hope that we could get some help paying for a new unit, she let me know there was nothing they could do. We are just so hurt from this outcome as we are out $1100 dollars to fix something that was never installed correctly.

    Campers Inn We purchased a camper from Campers Inn about two years ago. Sales person was very helpful, we had some minor issues with the unit but overall very happy. Until the fridge broke. Replacing these is very costly, but we knew we had a two year warranty on it so thought we were good.We brought it in last fall for repair, and after weeks of diagnosing they determined it was the door seal. We experienced a lengthy delay while they ran it thru review for warranty approvals only to be denied. They said we needed to order a new door, which would come from ****** and take several weeks to arrive. Door was replaced and along with other services we paid about $1000 for repairs, winterization and now summarize it because it was in their possession for almost 5 months before repair was complete.We drove it home and the fridge still didnt work. Called ***** the Service Manager. He agreed to waive a diagnosis fee and reported back that it was the cooling unit. Blamed the cooling unit being gone due to the door seal issue. It seems they did not test to make sure it was getting cold after they repaired the door. They said the unit was working when they got it in Nov, which is untrue and not logical (why diagnose it and replace the door if it was working?)***** assured me cooling units are typically covered, but heres the kicker.Since Campers Inn took so long to diagnose it properly my warranty had run out. Now they want me to pay $1600 ($600 in labor) to repair it, again. They were unwilling to budge on the repair cost except to credit me for their mistaken repair on the door which I had paid $200 toward.This is unacceptable and leaves me to strongly urge anyone thinking of purchasing an RV to steer clear of Campers Inn of Kings Mountain.
