      On December 19, 2022, I took my car to Auto Brite to get a basic oil change and they charged me $90, two days later my car broke down, I took my car to the mechanic shop and was told that my Oil Filter Housing was completely broken (Screwed on to tight) and it would be $750 to fix. I informed Auto Brite and was told that they did not damage my vehicle and was not going to pay for it. I want to make other people aware of what these folks are doing to people.

      The appointment I made was Tuesday September 20th @ 9am. I brought my car in for a detailing and the car left looking nearly the same as when I brought it in, but that’s not my biggest issue. The problem is that the car wreaks of fish. I’m told apparently this can happen from mixing chemicals. I brought it back for them to get the smell out because it didn’t smell like that when I brought it into the facility. The lady only sprayed the entire car down with ******. Now the car wreaks of fish and ******. The smell is overwhelming and won’t air out in the car. I have a problem with motion sickness and intense smells make it worse. Im having a problem driving my own car a mile without getting sick. I will now have to pay someone to get the odor out and change my filters. I’m so frustrated and the only thing I’m asking for is my money back. Or for someone to at least make sure they know what they’re doing when mixing chemicals. A car is a huge expense and I can not get in the car without getting sick. I don’t usually keep receipts so I attached the ticket they use for the car.
