**** and his team helped us select new garage doors for our home. We showed up unscheduled to their showroom and were able to pick out exactly what we wanted for our new garage doors. The number of options for a simple garage door is honestly overwhelming but they made the process super easy and gave us several different options at different price points without ever trying to upsell my husband and I. We ultimately selected insulated carriage house style garage doors and just had them installed. 5/5 recommend Skylift, ****, and the whole team.

Skylift was the installer for my new construction home. The door lasted all of 10 months before catastrophically failing. Upon calling skylift in to warranty their work, the technician accused me of sabotaging the door by placing a stick under it while closing, and refused to do any repairs. On top of that the technician physically threatened me for not accepting his laughable stick excuse.Skylift's official response:"The installation itself was done properly and to the manufacturer specifications and has operated properly for over a year [this is a lie, it was 10 months] with no documented warranty visits. It's not covered under out labor warranty or the manufacturer product warranty".First, the installation was not done properly according to independent multiple third parties. It was determined that:1) The tracks were too wide 2) The door was not tensioned properly.3) The cable drum was not flush with the bearing plate.I believe that all of these things contributed to one of the cables jumping out of the drum and snagging, which then led to complete failure of the door.Second, these clowns were touting the fact that their brand new door in a brand new house almost made it a year without breaking as something to be proud of. Really? Operating properly for almost a year is something you're proud of? Is that a record or something? The garage door on my previous house was still working after 20+ years of service.I ended up going to arbitration under the warranty contract and winning, and even with a legal ruling in our favor we decided it was too risky to let these people work on the door. Our fear was that they'll probably just do the bare minimum, and in another year or so the door will pop out again, creating a dangerous situation.I strongly suggest going to a more reputable company which stands behind their work

Hi **************** - We apologize for this experience. The garage door on your home was installed approximately 2 years ago in July of 2022 for your general contractor during the construction process of your home. The General Contractor provided you with a 1 year warranty on the product. Due to your legal dispute with your general contractor we have to refer you to them regarding your applicable warranty coverages and ongoing legal dispute. They are responsible for your warranty and administration of it as they purchased the product. We install thousands of garage doors per year and 100% stand behind our product and labor.
