    Went to Philips to purchase a Japanese Maple tree. ******** drove me by golf cart 3/6 to a tree. It had no blooms. I said to her are you sure this will bloom it looks dead. She responded oh yes it will bloom. I payed $325.00 for this tree.About the first of April, some of the tree bloomed. The other half was dead.I waited a few more weeks to see if it would bloom in warmer weather. It did not. I called Philips on 4/18, explained the situation and was told you had the tree over a month we do not guarantee plants. I explained I was waiting to see if the tree bloomed. All she kept saying was you had the tree over a month. I asked to speak to the manager and she said he was gone. I said I would call back. I. A few minutes **** called me. I explained everything and he gave me the same answer, he told me to go and cut the branches down until I saw any green. If there was no green then I had to cut all the branches off.They would not compensate me in any way. They sold me a 1/2 dead tree.NOWHERE on my invoice or receipt or in their office does it say there are no refunds or that they do not guarantee plants.

    The lady bought this *********/6 and did not contact us till 4/18 about her tree.  None of our Japanese ****** are dead.  That is correct we do not warranty any tree that has been planted in the ground and left our lot because we do not know how the tree has been taken care of or do they even water.   In March there is no blooms in our area, due to there is still a frost to come and still cold weather.  We also did have another frost hit and freezing temperatures come after she bought this tree.    The lady explained to us that she had to leave town for 2-3 weeks and she did not water this newly planted tree in the ground for over 2 weeks.    This is the reason we do not guarantee plants.    She did not take care of the tree and expects us to replace a tree that she spent this much on and never watered it.   Plants, Trees, Flowers all die if not taken care of just like other living things.   

     

    We are not replacing this tree, no matter who she keeps calling and complaining on us about!   I am now complaining that she took a nice tree that we nurtured and took care of for some time, and she killed it by forgetting to water it for over two weeks!  We take very good care of our Plants, Trees and Flowers and very proud of our operation!
