    I purchased this ************** 325 Last month from ***** Of Nortons repair last month under the condition the machine had been "gone through" and would last a long time as stated by *****. After purchase I did not use machine for 6 days due to weather and recent yardwork. Upon starting and run time of 10 minutes *** stopped working. I called ***** and he said switch was bad. He said he usually gave 7 days guarantee so he would cover parts. He then said "these old mowers will break down". I replied you said you went through this mower right? He nodded. I said if it did not improve, he should give me my money back. He replaced switch and he tried it and *** engaged. A few days later when I started it to mow after ******************************** looking at *** one of the wires had corroded in two and only made occasional contact which allowed switch ***** replaced to work for a brief time. I replaced the *** at $157 my cost also found switch ***** replaced no good, When I started to use the mower some weeks later, the *** worked fine but after 30 minutes of operation the engine started sputtering would only run at idle. The internet said the fuel pump most likely the culprit so fuel pump $27 replaced, this did NOT cure problem! I cleaned carburetor this did not work either. Fuel is clean so not a problem either, fuel filter replaced as well $5. In short this was an old machine, the only reason I bought it for the large price of $1500 was *****'s word he had totally gone through this machine, that it was "well built" compared to newer models and would last a long time. The truth is ***** never went through this machine even the air filter had not been changed in FOREVER! Just merely junk he got running and pawned off on an unsuspecting customer under the guise of repairing and restoring issues this mower had which was NOT the truth. Total refund should be $1689. I will not charge labor.

    he asked if I had any mowers for sale , so I showed *************** all the mowers I had available, the **** ************** ********************************* so I told him the price was $2,000 and he offered $1500,  i agreed to the price but he ask if he could have his tires from his old mower and I said yes no problem as he had given it to me for parts, I removed all 4 tires took them and had them switched at my cost of $40 and didn't charge **************** for that and delivered it to his home at no extra charge and told him let me know if he had any problems, on the 7th day, **************** called very upset at me that the mower wasn't working properly ,so I closed my shop and went to his home and checked and tested everything and found that the electrical switch (PTO) had went bad  and he was very rude about it and said I should have had this replaced already, but the pto is a electrical component and you can't tell if its going out,I explained this to him but he still felt it was my fault, so I went back to my shop and ordered a **** deere Original part which was $33 ordered on March 30, 2023 as soon  as I received it I again closed my shop and went straight to his home and replaced the switch and it worked just like I explained to him that it would, and have herd nothing else from **************** untill now, I have and always fully service my mowers before they are sold and fix anything that is worn or broken and make it as new as I possibly can, the oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug was replaced as well as the mower was fully greased and blades sharpened. as far as I know I am the only person that gives any kind of warranty on a used riding mower, I held up to what I promised I would so I feel as there is no fault by me or my business,  I cannot refund any money as has been over 2 months since he purchased the mower and has been very untruthful in his complaint, thank you.

    I am rejecting this response because: Simply untruthful response as evidenced by picture of air cleaner attached. The engine compartment was packed with mice nests and leaves. This mower was not serviced- Seller fabricated issues concerning this sale, he alludes to 4 tires when only two were exchanged. Also, these were off a tractor I had given him, which was worth at least $200 in parts. I was never rude but I was questioning his truthfulness as this mower so far has run 30 minutes total counting when the seller delivered it. As I expected a person of his caliber response, I have started repairing the tractor myself, so far ignition, coil, PTO, fuel pump, and most likely the carburetor is bad. So as far as servicing all his mowers that is a joke-

    I have never done anyone wrong and never will, I do this for a living, I said 4 tires because I had to change the 2 on the **** deere for the 2 you wanted off your mower and had to have the others put back on the parts mower so yes sir 4 tires, I gave a 7 day warranty on a used mower and held up to that warranty 100% so I did everything I had promised and then some, never had any issues with any other customers untill now I have been in business since 2021 and never had a problem,  and *************** has not contacted me at anytime since I replaced his part. I've done everything I said I would do and im sorry *************** is having issues but has continously fabricated issues to try and make me look bad, and is trying to make you think he just bought the mower, an as I said previously its been over 2 months now with no contact of any kind about any issue, so again I cannot refund his money as the warranty has expired over 2 months ago. Thank you
