    I brought my car to Independence Collision Center after an accident back in October 2022. Although the company that did the estimate deemed my car driveable which it was this business told me that it was not and they needed to take it right away and would have it done within weeks. My insurance company paid part of my rental car fees but after a month I was on my own. For months Independence Collision did not call me with status updates and when I called them they merely told me they were still waiting for the parts to come available. Finally I took it upon myself to call the ******* dealership and they told me the quarter panel could be shipped there within two days. I called the collision center back and told them this and they finally ordered.my parts. They then told me my car would be finished the following week. It has been over three weeks since then and it is now February of 2023 and I still don't have my car back. There are many reviews of the same nature about this company but I wanted.to reach out to you to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else and that hopefully my car will get finished properly and released back to me. They have done nothing but lie to me since day one and I have spent thousands on rental car fees because that is the only car I have. Please help me resolve this issue. Thank you.

    This body shop has kept my truck for over a year and seven months now. They originally told me back in July of 2021, when they took the truck that they would have it ready in about 3 to 4 months. On July and August last year the manager told me that the truck was compete and that they were only waiting on the service bed to come in and get an appointment from the installer. On December the same manager told me that they were still waiting on parts and that the truck was not done yet, when he clearly had told me it was done back in August. What parts could possibly take over a year to arrive?? Time has passed and month after month they keep making up lies. They never return my calls and *** had to show up in person in order to get an answer even if its more lies. I just want to get my truck back so I can take it to another shop to do the work. The truck is for my plumbing business and currently still making payments on it. Ive incurred a lot of business loss not having this truck back. I showed up today to get another update because now their phone line says it has been disconnected and their shop is also closed during normal business hours with no notice on the door.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that they are lying about there not being parts while they held my truck. This collision shop gave me the estimate from the company that was going to supply the parts  to "show" that they really were waiting on parts. However, I called the company that was supposed to supply the parts in January 2023 and they informed me that this collision shop never sent in an order for the parts nor payment.The company manager said they had the parts in stock and have had them for a while. so they did not understand why the collision shop had not ordered and that the estimate they created for them had even expired. The resolution they offered is satisfactory to me and would love a refund for the amount of the check they received. I took my truck to an original ***** dealership, they created paperwork and inspected the truck and can testify no work has been on my truck. So a complete refund would be nice so that I can actually fix my truck and continue with my plumbing business. Again, I do accept the resolution as long as they go through with it.

    My vehicle(2022 *** X5) has been sitting at this business for 10 months with no work completed or parts ordered. Nothing. Zero communication other than me showing up to receive. This business cashed the check from my insurance company(13K) Progressive immediately. As of 1/27/23 I pulled my vehicle from this shop as instructed by Progressive to a new shop. Progressive has instructed ***************************** the owner on 1/27/23 to forward my funds to the new body shop or return them to progressive. She has done neither and now my vehicle is sitting in limbo again with the new shop waiting to order parts because I refuse to pay twice for something they should have fixed in the first place. I suspect the owner is running some form of a ponzi scheme and shuffling funds between her business and using for personal use. I am OOP 15K in a rental, almost a years worth of payments on a car that is 2 months old that I cannot use and now I am being held in limbo for the initial progressive payment of 13K. I just want my money back so I can move on with my life. FYI all this from an accident I did not cause.

    I took my car to Independence collision center it's been there about **************************************************************** back. I have left several messages numerous messages with the answering service and to this day no one has contacted me. Every time now that I call I get the answering service. Not even been able to look up a corporate office or number to reach anyone. This is totally unacceptable. I would like someone to contact me to help me to resolve this issue. Thank you.

    I am rejecting this response because:My vehicle has been at this shop since October 2022. I have called and visited numerous times to check status and each time there is a issue with no date of completion. The owner ****** is rude and has excuses of why vehicle is not ready.     Any last conversation with ***********  he was notified we are asking approval from his insurance company for carpet stains in his carpet from the vehicle bieng stolen. it has caused a delay in the repair. Since i have been back to the office we gave ordered ***** completed a portion of the work i gave explained to bbb and ****** my business was mismanaged in my absence i have also explained what im doing to fix his vechicle. thank you
