I asked for a quote to replace rotten facia boards and window trim on house. **** verbally quoted $3000 initially and then I asked how much to do all the door and window trim and he said $3600. I also asked in the same quote about replacing a few wood siding sheets. He sent me a quote by text and at the time I didnt realize someone at his company had signed my name. I knew that I had to pay for the siding materials and those were not a part of quote but ended up being $67 each and he first billed in the attached invoice for 14 sheets and we counted only 9 so he adjusted. As I told him the material and entire job was absolutely not ***** he then texted me hed do $11000. He knows he tried to cheat me and refused to show me the material list of cost too. When job was completed he handed me an invoice for ovy$***** dollars! So I was shocked because I knew the ballpark of the charges. I had 2 other contractors tell me had taken me for a ride. We measured and factored in waste materials etc and it was actually well under the $8100 I gave him. At $8100 he is still overpaid but I wanted done with him. He still wants rest of money. I never signed anything and certainly never wouldve agreed to over $*****. Can someone help me please! Attached is the only quote and invoice received. In addition to the $2100 showed paid on invoice I also paid 3 Zelle payments of $2000 each fora total payment of $8100. So I went from being quoted $3600 to over $***** with no indication or explanation nor did I or ever agree or sign an agreement like this
