    Mullis Carpet installed carpet and LVT flooring in our home "completing" their work about two months ago. The work is not complete. One section was not installed as agreed and needs to be changed and one threshold installed was not installed properly and needs to be fixed. I would like the contractor to return to COMPLETE the work correctly. I have called and texted more than a dozen times to the owner, ***** Mullis. He does not respond to any of my communications. I paid in full for the job.

    Mullis Carpet and Floors LLC was hired by TriSquare Builders to complete a *** flooring job at Mr. ************** residence.  There was a meeting between Mullis Carpet and Floors, TriSquare Super Intendent - *******************, and *****************  We discussed where to stop the *** in the hallway at the living room door.  I advised them to go on a 90 degree angle, but they wanted it in a curved angle.  I performed the task as requested.  This all took place in/around November 2022.  The threshold was completed in Feb 2023.  He stated to Mullis Carpet and Floors that the threshold was not completed properly and inquired about hiring me directly to repair.   I agreed but he has been in and out of town.  Mullis Carpet and Floors has installed 2 rooms of carpet directly for *****************   It is unfortunate that we have not been able to work out a scheduled time to repair the threshold due to both of our schedules. Ultimately, the threshold falls on the responsibility of Tri-Square but since we had preformed other jobs for ****************, I was willing to help him with this repair excluded TriSquare.  Mullis Carpet and Floors also made repairs for TriSquare for mistakes made by them

    I am rejecting this response because: I have been available for the correction to be completed, but the contractor has not been able to schedule a date to return.  I remain available and would like the contractor to contact me with any date in the next 15 days to come to complete the job.  I called and texted the contractor numerous times to schedule the work prior to filing my complaint with the BBB but he stopped returning my calls.

    We will contact the customer even though we feel TriSquare is responsible for this repair.  Mullis Carpet and Floors completed the job to the specification given by TriSquare and the property owner.  Mullis Carpet and Floors was contracted through TriSquare not the homeowner.  Mullis Carpet and Floors will contact the homeowner next week.
