On the 7th of November, I went to Dr.Andrew G **** and Associates to purchase a glasses frame .There was a male *** at the desk and we spoke about what I needed ,I explained to him that I needed a frame ,only the frame for my daughter and another lady came to show us the ones available. We made a decision to purchase one at the value of $145.65.We were never told that the purchase was non-refundable ,he asked about our insurance and I told him I would be paying out of pocket and he was also asking me about the lens and I told him I just wanted the frame .At no point was I told by him or anyone in that establishment that they had a zero refund policy. After I got home with the frame ,my wife did not approve of the purchase and we decided to return the item the very next day. My wife went to the location this morning seeking a refund and was told that they have a no refund policy and that I was told ,NO I was never told that ,that was never mentioned to me yesterday. I want a refund and there is absolutely nowhere on the receipt which states that there is a zero refund policy. We have tried to return the frames less than 24 hours after purchase .

      Business Response

Mr. ******** came into our practice to pick out a pair of glasses for his daughter that accompanied him.  While she was looking we asked him if he was using insurance or paying out of pocket.  He made multiple phone calls to his wife and seemed like he wasn't sure what he wanted to do. So I explained to him that if insurance was not presented at time of service that he would be responsible to file the claim himself and that there would no return or refund on the frames once it leaves the office. I was very adamant that he understood that there would be no refund or refiling of insurance and he agreed. I have multiple staff members that witnessed the conversation.  His wife came in the next morning wanting us to file insurance for the frames and I told her the agreement i had with Mr. ******** that once he left with the frames we would not file the insurance or return the frames.  At that point she got mad at Mr. ******** for how he handled the situation.  I was under the impression this was resolved until I received this letter.

I am rejecting this response because:
All that has been said in the response is untrue. I have therfore decided not to follow through with this complaint ,at this point in time ,this company and it's employees are all dishonest .

Nothing said in this letter is true and it's their word against mine.I just need the wider public to know how these people operate and they are not truthful in there practice .
