      I have been working at the portrait gallery for 6 months. When I was hired I was told that I would be compensated $10/hr as a base, but I've been receiving $9. They have been alternating me between server/bartender. As a bartender, I was promised $12/hr base and have seen no adjustments on my pay. Another server who has less experience was hired 1 week before and was also promised the same $10/hr base pay and has been receiving that. When I brought this to the manager's attention, they said that they would adjust it. I have communicated my frustrations and the company has not taken action nor made any efforts to correct its logistical mistakes.

      Besides service being slow and waiting over an hour for food and thirty minutes for drinks, I was charged for food I did not order. When I called the business and spoke with a manager (****) he assured me they would rectify the issue, and instead a day later, was charged an additional 40 dollars. When I called to speak with them again, a female manager answered the phone, stating the finance manager was out of town so they couldn't do anything, then proceeded to hang up the phone. I will be contacting my bank to dispute all charges, however this type of behavior at best is unprofessional, at worst is criminal.
