  NEVER AGAIN!My sewer alarm to my holding tank and maceration pump sporadically would ring for about a minute than stop throughout the day. Finally, I called All About Plumbing and Septic to have my system (3 yrs old in a new home) serviced. A serviceman came and told me my system was no longer up to code in **************** and that I would need to replace the electrical to my panel as well as install a control board and replace the maceration pump. He said the electrical alone would be $3,000.00. I asked why the electrician couldn't use the receptacles and conduits that were already installed and the service person responded, "well that's up to the electrician". He then proceeded to quote me $12,000.00 for the entire project. I then contacted a plumber referred to me and they promptly came the following day, did some diagnostics and within 20 minutes realized the ONLY problem was a loose wire. He made the fix and charged me $375.00. This apparently is NOT the first time this company All About Plumbing and Septic have tried to pull this sort of extortion on their customers as I heard similar stories from several friends and residents. I will never call them again and make sure that anyone with an issue in our community knows to stay clear of this outfit.

  I am very sorry to see that you are upset with your absolutely free estimate. We didn't try to pull anything over on anyone. Your home should never be out of code if it was installed properly 3 years ago. I understand your frustration, but I believe it is misplaced. I would be very upset with the subpar work completed by the person that installed this work. You shouldn't be having any issues with such a new system. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. My company was only trying to install your plumbing/ septic system the way it should have been in the first place. I am glad you found a company that would Band-Aid the issue, but when an issue occurs again you may want to consider installing the system properly. I will be glad to discuss any issue you may have and my company isn't without fault, but I have reviewed your estimate and if I were in you shoes I would be upset with the builder and the work that was already completed.   *****,Thank you for taking the time to respond. While I appreciate that your estimate was free, the concern is not about costits about accuracy, ethics, and transparency.Your technician assessed the issue and recommended a complete overhaul of a three-year-old system, including new electrical, a control board, and a pump replacementtotaling $12,000. No diagnostics other than making sure there was power from the house to the pump and floats were performed. There was no effort to test existing components, nor was there a clear explanation of how these conclusions were reached.Out of concern, I sought a second opinion. That plumber took the time to diagnose the issue properly, found a loose wire, and resolved the problem in under 30 minutes for $375. The system has worked perfectly ******** suggest that this professional "Band-Aided" the issue is, frankly, dismissive. It implies a disregard for their expertise and the simple truth: your team misdiagnosed a basic wiring issue, and instead proposed a costly, unnecessary replacement. There are literally thousands of homes with systems that are now out of code due to code changes. This doesnt mean that everyone should require a complete system overhaul. Whether the original install was flawed or not, your companys role was to assess the current issue accurately, not to upsell an entire system based on assumptions. As a homeowner, I have every right to question a quote of this magnitudeespecially when its resolved so simply by another qualified professional.Your response focuses on blaming the original installer and defending your company's intent. What I hoped for was accountability for the incorrect diagnosis and acknowledgment that things could have been handled with more diligence and care.I understand no company is perfect, but when multiple community members share similar experiences, it reflects a larger issue of trust.   All about heat and air was fabulous. I had big issues with furnace being installed by another company that went out of business. All About Heat and Air got me on their schedule quickly and three great men came on time and fixed my furnace up right!!! Could not have been nicer or more courteous and cleaned up so well!! Definitely will be getting my yearly service with them!!!

  Had a leak under mobile accessed the area and called plumber ****** for one hour work extremely expensive I had to replace insulation and repair area myself not part of service the leak was fixed just highway robbery 2 pm on a Saturday

  Thank you for taking your time to review our recent weekend service. I hate to read that your experience with our company was not 5 stars. We do offer absolutely free estimates with upfront pricing, even on the weekends. I does appear that ************** did access your water line leak and offered a free estimate. You did sign off on this estimate and he started the work immediately. I do see that your CPVC water line broke at a tee fittings. This means we had to repair three different water lines to correct this issue so it is a little more complicated this just a simple water line repair. I am glad to see that we were able to get your water back on to your home this weekend and I am not sure how we could have been more fair. In the future please call in at any time if there are any issues prior to the work starting as we are always willing to help explain the situation and not charge for our trip out to estimate your plumbing needs. Thank you for allowing us to repair your water system this weekend.

  On 10/26/22 I paid AllAbout Plumbing $683.39 for what turned out to be a one-hour job, replacing an outside faucet and installing two grab bars In the bath. When I asked for an itemized bill, they did not comply. They explained that they charged by the job, not by the hour. I am asking them again to provide me with a breakdown of costs that I paid for a one-hour job. Thats all Im asking. No arguments, no lectures about rising costs of living, no pointing fingers. Just a cost breakdown.

We did come to your home and offered a free estimate for the work. We did discuss the work that needed to be done and how we would complete this work. You agreed to this price and signed to get the work started. I feel this is the only honest and professional way to complete business. If you had an issue with the pricing you could have declined the work and we would not have charged for coming out. I do employ the best and most professional technicians in the area which means they can make short work of most any job. I don't believe that they should be punished for being the best in the industry. That is why we charge a fair and competitive price upfront.
