    I purchased an educational credential evaluation from IEE based on clear documentation stating my schools involvement was NOT required. The only additional step mentioned was a possible verification fee, which I was prepared to pay.However, after I paid $289.69 and mailed my original documents, IEE changed their requirements, now stating my university must send the documents directly. This was never disclosed upfront. Had I known, I would never have proceeded, as I cannot currently contact my school.I contacted IEE multiple times and was told I would receive a response within 24 hoursbut I didnt. Then I was told Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday. After many follow-ups, IEEs Verification Team finally responded, only to confirm they are ignoring their own policies and requiring my schools involvement anyway.I even tried to reach my school despite not being required to, and they stated that they cannot send documents unless IEE contacts them firsta common university policy. Yet, IEE refuses to send a simple email, making it impossible to complete my evaluation.Misleading Business Practices:IEE continues to blame others for not following their policies, when in reality, they are the ones not following their own terms. Their process was not accurately presented, leaving customers like me in an unfair situation.I have screenshots proving that IEE confirmed my schools involvement was NOT required, yet they refuse to honor their original terms.Resolution Requested:I am demanding a full refund of $289.69 and the immediate return of my original documents. IEEs lack of transparency, shifting policies after payment, and refusal to follow their stated process has caused unnecessary stress and wasted my time.I trusted IEE to follow their terms, yet requirements changed only after payment was received. I hope BBB holds IEE accountable and ensures this does not happen to others.

    Based on our prior communication, you indicated your intention to proceed with a Provisional Evaluation, which we agreed to complete based on the documents you provided. In return, you assured us that you would withdraw your BBB complaint once the services were completed.
    You later requested to cancel your order, and we accommodated your request as a one-time courtesy, issuing a refund on 2/13/25, less the shipping costs for returning your documents and the credit card processing fee. Additionally, we waived all other non-refundable fees, despite your prior agreement to our Terms and Conditions at the time of purchase.
    Relevant Terms & *********************************************************start="945" data-end="948">IEE will not begin an evaluation until all required documentation, translations (if applicable), and payment are received. Evaluations typically take 3 business days, with an additional 2 days for translation if required. Expedited services are available but non-refundable.
    Documentation **********************start="1273" data-end="1276">It is the applicants responsibility to review IEEs Documentation Requirements and submit the necessary documents. IEE may require additional verification at any stage, which may delay processing. If documents are not sent directly from the issuing institution, verification fees may apply. These fees can be avoided if the institution submits documents directly to IEE.
    If original academic documents are mailed, IEE will return them using the shipping method selected in the application.

    Dear IEE,
    I acknowledge the full refund you have issued. However, my BBB complaint will remain open until I receive my original documents, which were a critical part of my complaint. My trust in this process has already been severely tested, and I cannot consider the matter resolved until my documents are safely returned in the same condition in which they were sent.
    I also want to address a larger concern. I hold engineering licenses in ***** and ************, both of which required strict verification of my academic credentials before approval. Additionally, my documents have been successfully verified by multiple government institutions across different countries, including for **** approvals to the *** and other nations. If these governments and licensing bodiesknown for their rigorous verification procedureshad no issue confirming my credentials, I fail to understand why a company whose sole purpose is academic evaluation could not do the same.
    Instead of assisting professionals and students, your process has become a barrier to career growth and education. This is not just an inconvenienceit directly impacts peoples futures.
    Despite this, I am still willing to cooperate if you demonstrate good faith. One way to do this would be to complete the evaluation of my degree as originally requested. However, due to lost trust, I will only pay after the evaluation is completednot before. This ensures fairness for both parties.
    For now, my primary concern is the return of my original documents. Once I have them in hand, I will honor my commitment and update my BBB complaint accordingly.

    I ordered an education evaluation from ************************ in Jan, 2025 for my UK degree to be used in **. I uploaded all the required original scanned copy of diploma, confirming letter as required. They asked to contact my university from ** to send them an email directly to verify all the documents are true, but my university does not have this service. I provided ************************ the university contact phone number and email for them to call or email directly to verify my education. But ************************ said they cannot do that. Now it is in a dead-end, it cannot move forward. I asked for refund of my $325 dollars from ************************, but they refused. It is a bad experience with this company.

    We appreciate your feedback and understand your frustration. However, we would like to clarify that our evaluation process follows strict documentation requirements and verification policies to maintain accuracy and integrity.
    When the placed their order in January 2025, you reviewed and accepted our Terms and Conditions, which clearly outline the required steps for evaluation. These terms specify that:
    IEE cannot begin an evaluation until all required documentation is received.
    For degrees from the **, verification must come directly from the issuing institution via an official email or in a sealed, stamped envelope.
    It is the clients responsibility to ensure their institution can provide the necessary verification.


    In your case, your university does not offer direct email verification services. While we understand this may be an inconvenience, we cannot bypass our verification procedures. As an alternative, we provided options to proceed, including submitting a PDF copy of your dissertation for review and considering a downgrade in service, but no confirmation was received from you.
    Regarding your refund request, our policy states that once an order is placed and processing begins, non-refundable fees apply. Since your order was actively processed, we are unable to issue a full refund.

    On 12/07/2024 I (****** *****) placed an order on International Educations Evaluators, in order to have my international academic degree evaluated by ************************* the same time, my frienmd who attended the same school sent her documents, the same ones I sent since we are friends from medical school in ****, and we plan to attend a school here too. After paying $567.53, they are not issuing the service to my paperwork, but they did to my friend. And on top of that they are not returning my official academic decuments back to me, and they want to charge a cancellation fee when they are the ones who refused to issue the service I paid for.

    Thank you for the opportunity to address Mr. ****** ***** concerns regarding his order placed with International Education Evaluations (IEE) on December 7, 2024.

    IEE ensures clients are informed of our Terms and Conditions, which include our documentation and refund policies. To proceed with evaluations, clients must provide all required documents based on our Documentation Requirements. For evaluations from ****, official documents must be sent directly by Consultora Jurdica Internacional (CJI) or Bufete de Servicios Especializados (BES) via an official email or sealed and stamped envelope. Unfortunately, Mr. ***** did not provide the required documents despite being informed of this requirement on December 17, 2024.

    On December 23, 2024, Mr. ***** requested a cancellation. Per our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which he agreed to during the application process, his order was refunded on December 26, 2024, less the non-refundable application fee and applicable shipping costs. His original documents were returned via **** on December 27, 2024 (tracking #**************************).

    We understand Mr. ***** comparison to his friends evaluation; however, documentation and case requirements differ. We would have been happy to proceed with his evaluation had the necessary documents been submitted as outlined.
    IEE remains committed to providing accurate evaluations and excellent customer service. If Mr. ***** submits the required documentation in the future, we would be glad to assist.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Facts stated are not honest the events delevoped in recent days. Also IEE has has failed to offer any of the services they were hired for originally. They requeired some documents from myself, but I have attached prove that my classmate, who sent the same documents as I did, was able to receive her evaluation right away, however mine wasnt even started at all before even the translations were canceled and never issued. 

    This business is not only faiing with their duties, they offer selective and discriminatory services based on their opinion not on facts.

    I made payment of 98$ on 18th Nov 2024 for my foreign education documsnts evaluation for military purpose. They mention on their website that they will complete in 3 days but they are scammers and they ask money money in future in you ask them for time. How ***** provide then membership to this kind of ***************. For military purpose i need to submitte documents on time so why i choose this company by checking their website. they need to provie me evaluation on time but it;s been 6 days they havent done anyting. they bleocked my way to join **************. it sound like **** are usa terrorist kind of orginatrion so that they are doing late for us military documents. Government need to take this kind of case seriously. I asked many times on their support them butg they replied me with automatic message and ready made message. this kind of terririst company need to be shut down.

    Customer Support (CS) escalated the issue to the evaluation team. However, due to an existing backlog, the requested expedited timeline could not be met unless the client upgraded to expedited service, which guarantees a shorter turnaround. On 11/25/2024, the client was notified that their order was in Verified Awaiting Evaluation status, the final step before completion. Prior to this notification, the client had already reported the matter to ***** and initiated a chargeback on the same day, claiming the charge was fraudulent. We were unaware of their formal complaint until after the chargeback had been filed.

    The chargeback dispute was countered on 12/02/2024 and resolved in our favor. On 12/03/2024, the client inquired again about their evaluation status and was informed the order remained on Financial Hold due to the chargeback. We explained that our policy pauses all production on evaluations until chargeback matters are fully resolved. As a gesture of goodwill, after consultation with our CEO, we offered to prioritize and complete the evaluation upon receiving proof of the chargeback cancellation. The client was advised to contact their bank, cancel the chargeback, and provide proof to expedite their evaluation. The client declined this offer. Subsequently, the client filed a second chargeback claiming fraud, which remains pending resolution.
    At IEE, client satisfaction is our priority. Despite our efforts to resolve this matter and fulfill the clients needs, we have exhausted all available resources without success.

    MYIEE.org has shipped my order no ********** on the 22nd April, I've paid $40 to the company for the Domestic express delivery with **** even though there was a free delivery option - it was important for me to get it by Friday 26th.The order was actually delivered to my mailbox on Monday 29th April. That's 2 extra business days in shipment. The company is refusing to refund me for the late delivery, claiming that the responsibility is on **** to refund me (Domestic express is guaranteed and late delivery is refundable). However, **** would not give me a refund directly because I was not the one placing the shipment order with them, technically, their client is MYIEE.org. Customer support at MYIEE.org is failing to take responsibility for this situation and what they're doing is unfair.I'd like to get a refund of $40 for receiving this sensitive and important package late. I think, that since the money for shipment was collected by MYIEE.org it is their responsibility to guarantee the timely delivery. And once they refund me, they can collect the standard refund from **** for failing to deliver the package on time for them, as it's usually done in such situations.

    The client was provided with detailed information about the differences in *** delivery options and the guaranteed 3-business day RUSH fee. Our Customer Support Team explained that the evaluation report cannot be completed until we have received all necessary documents and our Document Verification Team has approved them.

    We also informed the client that *** completed both tasks faster than anticipated. The client's documents were received on Friday, April 19th, and were approved by our Document Verification team on the same day. The electronic portion of the order was completed on Monday, April 22nd at 12:44 pm, and the physical mail portion of the order was completed at 4 pm.

    Furthermore, **** picked up our parcel before the order was completed, and the evaluation was mailed on April 23rd. **** should deliver within 2-3 business days. The client was advised to contact **** directly as they are responsible for the delivery.

    We also referred the client to the *** Terms and Conditions to which she agreed before submitting her order. The terms state that *** is not responsible for packages and their contents once they leave our office with a delivery service, and that *** is not liable for documents lost or damaged once they leave the office.

    Despite our explanation, the client expressed reluctance to contact **** as she didn't choose them and didn't deal with them directly. She insisted on a refund, suggesting that we should retrieve the money from ****. We attempted to clarify that we cannot guarantee **** delivery as it is beyond our control. Nevertheless, the client mentioned that she would file a dispute with her credit card to obtain a refund and then disconnected the call.

    When I was placing my order #********** the system was broken and wasn't accepting ************* addresses and was trying to add a $200 charge. I went through troubleshooting steps repeatedly across several agents. Now I am able to modify my order and add an address and the company wants an additional $50 fee, that wasn't provided up front. Because this isn't an upfront fee it is illegal in **********. Now, I have to pay an additional $65 to get a single hard copy, for the sole ORIGINAL purpose of my evaluation, because their system was broken. Now their charging me because THEIR SYSTEM was broken. This isn't even legal in **********.

    On October 18th i ordered from this company Diploma evaluation, the cost of it was $140 , also they charged me $75 as an application fee, and also i purchased expedited service , which meant that I will receive my papers in 3 days after two weeks I reached them and been told theres some translation needed as well , and I canceled the order , because i needed it asap. So basically i never received any service from them, no one ever called me or emailed me anything, and they only refunded $140 , saying that expedited and application fees are non-refundable! I opened a dispute through my bank as well , and they received the same answer that those fees are non-refundable I have this concern, why would i pay $125 for nothing?

    on October 19, 2022, at 10:04 pm, ***** agreed to our terms and conditions and proceeded to submit an order for the Education Course Report . He was assigned Reference # ********** and Transaction ID: ***********. ********************** uploaded a diploma and transcript; On October 25, 2022, at 2:48pm our Translation Specialist sent an email to the email address the client entered on page 2 of the application, advising him of the translation being needed. We also sent an invoice for the new translation services required for his requested evaluation to proceed in accordance with ******* Document Requirements.  October 26, 2022, at 2:55pm the client contacted us requesting to cancel the order, our Customer Support Specialist sent the client our cancellation policy and procedures via email.  On October 26, 2022, the clients refund was processed in accordance with IEE Terms and Conditions and IEE Refund/Cancellation policy which states in part:  

     CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICYAll evaluation prices include a $75 non-refundable application fee. Additionally, since expedited orders are prioritized and begin processing immediately, expedited service fees are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your evaluation, IEE will refund all fees that were paid, less a $75 non-refundable application fee, less any shipping fee required for returning your original documents, less any expedited service fee you selected on your application.

    I have been in communication with this client via email since the refund was processed. I caught an error that was made and refunded an additional $50 due to an oversight when his refund was processed, however the application fee is non-refundable.
