    I purchased a new boat lift and install on March 3rd, 2021 for $8,132.00. I started seeing issues within a few months and spoke to him in July 2021. He stated he would be in touch with me to get on his schedule and since then the owner will not return calls or emails to troubleshoot the problems. I've attempted **** times over the last 2 years with calls, emails and texts but he will not get back in touch with me. I've even stated that I'm willing to pay for the necessary lift repairs. I have records of my emails and texts to them. Short term issues - Bolts used were not long enough and have caused the lift to separate from the dock - The lift separation has caused damages to a handful of dock boards - The back rod of the lift is set too wide which is causing damages to the dock - I'm unable to use the lift and have had to move our boat to a different location I had to hire a company to secure the lift to the dock at a cost of $800, I've just sourced another company to fix the rod that is set too wide that I have a quote for $400 but that is pending their inspection which has not been scheduled yet. Long term issues - I've been informed by two other boat lift companies that the lift that was put in my slip should have never been used in the first place. The lift he installed is for low wake areas and my slip is exposed to the some of the worst boat and weather related wake that the lake has which was discussed during the initial sale of the lift.- I've been informed that this lift should be replaced before additional damage occurs to the dock and boat.
