This business owner is by far one of the worst I've seen in the moving industry. Beware of this horrible owner.

This moving company has a resale store (Furniture Barn) and I went there to buy a mirror advertised on ********* I called first, spoke to the clerk, and then drove quickly to the store to buy the mirror. I was told by the same clerk of the additional warehouse of items next door. I asked should I pay for the mirror before going there and ***** said no SHE WOULD HOLD THE MIRROR BEHIND THE COUNTER TIL I RETURNED FROM THE WAREHOUSE. At the warehouse, I met the owner of the shop who seemed pleasant and he shared with me about his moving company. After selecting an artwork to purchase, the clerk walked into the warehouse and said another customer called and offered twice what the mirror was priced. Quite shocked I said of course you told the customer it was sold correct? The clerk said this was businessI had not paid for the mirror so she could sell it to someone else-unless I wanted to beat the other customers pricethen walked away. I walked back into the store and the clerk said whatever price I offered, the other customer would offer more. I said no mam, this is about trust, honesty and integrity. I then put down the watercolor, didnt get the antique vase I had found and said let the other customer have the mirror, I refuse to get into a bidding war over money and you not honoring your word. By the way you just lost a very good customer. I proceeded to walk back to the warehouse and share with the owner the experience I just had. He had heard the warehouse conversation. I then said that the clerk said he authorized selling the mirror to the other customer after I drove here to buy it at the price marked and it was being held for me while I was on the premises. He just looked at me. He had told the clerk basically it could go to the highest bidder. SHAMEFUL! I said this reflects poorly on your moving company if you do business this way. I told him he just lost a good customer and that I will not refer his business to my real estate clients due to this experience.
