On Tuesday, Oct 18, 2023, I received a phone call from **** with All American Pest stating he was at my home for service. I explained that no appt was made and that no one was home. I called on Wed, Oct 19, 2023 and told ***** what happened and she scheduled an appt for me for Thurs, Oct 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm. **** didn't show up, so I called the office and found out that the appt was for 4:00 pm and no one bothered to call me. The girl that answered the phone started yelling and screaming at me, told my husband she has worked there for ************************************************************ I requested that I get *******************' phone number, but was told by ***** that customers are not allowed phone numbers of management. Someone in charge needs to contact me as I'm doing business elsewhere.

      Business Response

To whom it may concern in response to the complaint you received. We appreciate your attempt to get a resolution for this issue.

We would like you to know that we have been in business for over 20 years and have thousands of happy customers. We pride ourselves in putting customer service first and providing and maintaining a pest-free environment.

Here is our account of events involving ***** and *************************:
On October 17th, we texted *************** in reference to scheduling her appointment. We informed her that her service was due,and her technician would be in her area the following day and asked if it would be convenient for him to stop by. She responded that she would call us back once she returned home and checked her calendar; she did not. The following day, ************** called her to follow-up in reference to scheduling. She informed him that it was not a convenient day, and the appointment was then scheduled for October 26th at 1 pm. However, due to a scheduling conflict that occurred on October 25th, the time was adjusted to 4 p.m.

*************** called into our office inquiring where the technician was and spoke with ******, our business owners 76-year-old mother who is a retired police officer and well respected in our community. She asked, Who do we think we are and what do we think she does sit on her couch eating bon-bons all day waiting on us? ****** explained that her appointment time was adjusted due to a scheduling conflict. ************** stated that she was not informed of the adjusted time and ****** apologized for the oversight and offered to reschedule the appointment. The customer stated, she did not need our apology and was taking her business elsewhere. ****** thought the conversation was over and said, good luck and have a nice day, then ended the call.  *************** was loud and rude the entire conversation.

************** called back, almost immediately, unsatisfied with how ****** ended the conversation with his wife. ****** summarized her conversation with *************** and said she thought the conversation was mutually over. He called us all idiots for not knowing how to schedule then proceeded to called ****** a c**t and a b***h.

Over the next few hours, Mr. and *************** would call our office over 11 times. They would tell us how to operate our business and would demand my personal information, such as my cell phone number and home address. During these calls, they would also speak with *****, another member of our office, and ask to speak with me. She explained to them that I was on vacation and that it is against our policy to provide personal information. The customers did not believe her and stated they would come to our office to solve their problem;she again stated I was not in. In a later call from **************, he said they found my name and address and would just go to my house to sort this out. For a third time, ***** told them, I was not there, I was in Tennessee on vacation.***** also tried to resolve their issue but was unsuccessful.

Overall, we feel like the customer was very unreasonable and out of **********************. Though they do not happen often, scheduling conflicts do occur. We tried multiple times to resolve their issue. We were also informed by one of our former employees that they sought him out and went over the entire situation with him, putting him in a uncomfortable position.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and intimidation methods. Due to the vulgarity, profanity and threatening comments made by the customer, we have decided not to communicate further with them. It is outrageous how they spoke to us, and a certain amount of respect is expected. As previously mentioned, this is a family run and operated business, where the owners mother and children are employed. We hope they understand that we would never speak to their mothers or children in that manner, and we expect the same.

      Sincerely,
      *******************
