1 starWe entered into an agreement with Relias LLC in February 2025 after a product demo. At no point were we clearly informed that the contract included a non-cancellable 24-month lock-in or auto-renewal clause. These critical terms were not visible in the *** we reviewed, nor were they discussed during the demo or email exchanges. Instead, they were buried in hyperlinks that were neither explained nor referenced clearly. Relias representative was told explicitly who the authorized decision-maker was yet the contract was directed to and signed by a secondary staff member who had not been briefed on the terms. This alone undermines informed consent and contract enforceability. No onboarding was ever completed. While a consultant was assigned, we did not proceed because we had already made multiple calls attempting to cancel once we realized we no longer needed the service. Relias customer service has been consistently unresponsive and uncooperative since. We have not used the platform at all, and despite repeated efforts to resolve the issue directly, Relias has ignored our outreach. Weve now escalated this to the Georgia Attorney General and ***. At the very least, we urge this company to revise their contracting process and ensure all material terms are clearly and fairly disclosed upfront not hidden. Let this serve as a warning to other small businesses: read every linked document thoroughly, and if the contract doesnt clearly state major terms in writing where youre signing, walk away.Review fromMike B

Don't get caught up in their deceptive contract. Unfortunately, we singed a 5 year contract during the Pandemic, and started with a few "seats/users" then added to the user count over the next 6 months. Like many companies, we lost employees and are about 1/2 the size we were at the start of the pandemic. Relias was adamant that we could not reduce the "seats/user" count once they were added, even though we were using fewer than half of what we were paying for. After giving them a 1 star review on ******, they reached out to me to give me "special terms" if I agreed to renew my contract with them. They have deceptive contracting/retention practices in their contract. And they have a hidden auto renewal policy not dictated on the original signing agreement to keep their clients trapped and paying a monthly fee. If you want to throw your money away, sign up today because Relias will gladly take your money.Relias

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand your concerns about user seat adjustments and contract terms, and we regret that our policies did not meet your expectations during a particularly challenging time for many organizations.Relias offers contracts designed to scale with our customers' needs, but we recognize that unexpected workforce changes, such as those caused by the pandemic, can create challenges. While our standard policy prevents the reduction of seats after theyve been added, as outlined in our contracts, we strive to provide support and flexibility whenever possible. We also take your feedback about the renewal process seriously. While auto-renewal is included to ensure uninterrupted service, we're committed to making all contract terms clear and accessible. After reviewing your case, we see that we responded to your email on November 8, 2024, the same day, offering options to adjust your agreement at renewal, including the opportunity to shorten the contract term without increasing the rate. We regret that these efforts did not resolve your concerns, but we remain dedicated to improving our processes to better support our customers. Thank you again for your feedback. We value the important work you do and truly appreciate your input as it helps us better serve our customers.Mike B

This company's "help" after a contract expires is not helpful at all! Fortunately for them, they continued to earn income during the pandemic due to their contract ties while other companies suffered. The practice of adding seats but then not being able to reduce that number as employees in our company fluctuate, is an unfair business practice. For this reason, we will never work with them again.Review fromHugh P

Deceptive contracting/retention practices used. This organization has hidden auto renewal policy not dictated on your original signing agreement to keep their clients trapped and paying a monthly fee for an unconscionable term. Our organization completed our 5 year original contracted agreement only to find out when we decided the platform or program was truthfully not beneficial to us, that they have a hidden auto renewal policy on a link completely not dictated on your original signed agreement, when sent to you for docusign execution. The auto renewal policy traps you for the same term as your agreement, a 5 year renewal feature. This is one of the most agregious/deceptive forms of contracting that I have ever experience in a professional organization and truthfully borders on a crime/theft. This organization needs to be black listed and investigated for outright consumer deceptive practices.Relias

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and delays you experienced, both in resolving the cancellation of your contract and in our follow-up response to your comment. After reviewing the situation, we see you emailed us several times, and there was a delay in responding to your emails due to the team member being out sick. While this was unintentional, we understand how this impacted your experience and regret the inconvenience it caused.Regarding the auto-renewal policy, its outlined in our *************** Agreement (MSA), which is linked in the original contract. We understand that this may not have been immediately clear, and we appreciate your bringing this to our attention. We're sorry that this experience fell short of your expectations. While the situation was not ideal, were glad to see the team member was able to process your cancellation before the contract auto-renewed. Thank you again for sharing your experience, as your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve.Review fromJulie C.

Buyer beware. Do not buy nursing courses from nurse.com. They have deceptive business pactices and the *** pharmacology course is not acceptable for licensing contact hours in the **************** or valid for the 25 hour requirement for board renewal. After many phone calls, emails I realized I wasted precious time. The platform is not user friendly and inconsistent responses from customer service. This company should never t be in business.Relias

Were sorry to hear about your frustrations with Nurse.coms APRN pharmacology course and the inconvenience you experienced. We sincerely apologize for the delay in responding to your concerns, as we understand how important timely communication is when resolving these matters. We take your concerns seriously and would like to clarify the requirements for earning credit through the course. The course is designed to meet the 25-hour pharmacology CE requirement in all states, including *******, provided all required activities are completed. Per Florida regulations, self-directed learning experiences must include an evaluation with at least 10 questions and require a passing score of 80% to grant credit. Additionally, Florida grants credit only after all components of a course package are successfully ************ this case, two elements of the course are outstanding:1. Pharmacology of Antibiotics: Part 1 Test not completed.2. **** Advanced Pharmacology Exam Not attempted.Until these components are completed, the course cannot be marked as finished, and Florida CE credit cannot be granted. However, you have 12 months from the purchase date to complete these requirements and receive credit. We understand how valuable your time is and regret any frustration caused by inconsistent and late communication or difficulties with the platform. Your feedback is important to us, and we are committed to improving the experience for all our learners. If you need assistance completing a course or navigating the system in the future, our customer support team is here to help.Thank you for sharing your experience.Review fromBecca M

If I could give them a zero I would. What a scam; as is evident by all the other reviews on here. And for Relias to respond with the same "canned" response to every complaint is only because the BBB gives them credit for "answering" a complaint. Similar to other complaints listed on here, we've been with Relias for years. The shortest contract period they offer is 36 months. The service and product have degraded over the years so I wanted to change to another training system. To get out of my contract is impossible. When I called my account manager, **** ******* I never received a call back but got an email saying his “phone was locked up” he said since we didn't notify Relias 60 days BEFORE our contract came up for renewal, that it would automatically renew so we are bound to the contract for an ADDITIONAL three years and that no agreement or signature is needed for them to do this. The contract is 2 pages long and mentions nothing about this except there are two tiny links on page 2 of the contract "terms and conditions" link (see attached). Conveniently, when you try to click on the links, your computer gives you a "Security Warning" so you are not inclined to open the links. You are unable to remove your payment method from the portal so other than to dispute the charges, you don't have any options. To complain is fruitless. When I tried to go up the ladder, I was completely stonewalled. The management staff are in collusion and refuse to give you their managers’ contact info. I've tried to contact Corporate and only get a recorded message to leave a message which I have and no one ever calls you back. I've never seen such a shady business practice. My next step is to file a complaint with every agency I can find that may be able to help. This company is clearly demonstrating Deceptive and Restrictive Trade Practices and I intend to pursue this as far as I can go.Relias

We sincerely apologize for the difficulties you encountered regarding the term of your contract and the challenges during your renewal discussions, as well as for the delay in responding to your comment on this platform. While our standard contract length is 36 months, consistent with many **** providers, we aim to remain flexible to meet the unique needs of our clients. It appears that the option of a shorter renewal term was not effectively communicated to you by the Account Manager for ************************ and we take full responsibility for this gap in our processes.Providing a seamless and transparent experience is a top priority for us. We're actively reviewing our procedures to ensure our team is equipped to offer clear, thorough communication to all our clients.Regarding contract accessibility, our process follows standard industry practices by including pricing and contract terms in an order form, with a link to the full agreement. We understand how important clarity is and regret that accessing this information was frustrating.Additionally, we recognize how critical responsiveness is, and its disappointing to hear that your attempts to contact our leadership team went unanswered. This does not align with our standards, and we are taking steps to improve our responsiveness and accessibility to prevent this from happening in the future. We truly value the work you do in providing quality care and hope you have since found a solution that supports your teams needs. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention we take this feedback to heart and are committed to improving.
