    I hired this company to move me from my home in ************* to a retirement community in ******************. During the move one of the workers use my bathroom, without asking, and broke the toilet seat. Also, sometime during the move, the workers damaged 5 pieces of furniture. When I say damage I mean they broke glass and wood. I submitted a claim with pictures to the owner that same week. Also, after they left, I found 2 of my dining chairs left in the hallway in front of my storage unit. The move was on May 29, 2024. I have been texting and emailing the owner, *****************, asking when my furniture will be repaired. Hes told me twice that he has 90 days to resolve this issue. Its been 82 days and I still am unable to use my furniture. This situation could have been resolved in less than a week. Im requesting that this company pay for repairs or replacement of my damaged furniture and refund me the money I paid.

    Hello,

     

    I am responding to the complaint filed. 

     

    We have done our due diligence on this claim and are still within our time frame. ****************** Submitted a claim on 5/29/25 with 7 key issues. Since 5/29/24, we have fixed and resolved 4 of the 7 key issues at hand, and we have 90 days to do so. This included repairing damaged home and repairing some furniture. There are 3 more pieces that need to be address by the timeline of 90 days, and I have contacted ****************** with a reasonable resolution for the remaining 3 items in question. -$300 reimbursement. 

     

    We have followed NCUC guidelines regarding this claim, and are operating within our rights, and we fully expect to resolve this claim amicably and per NCUC guidlines. Please let me know if you need anything else form me!
