JS - The Customer GD GD Woodstove Installer, **********************. JS has a used woodstove to needed to be installed. She paid in full, but the job was never finished. JS's dispute is for missing Duratech/Duravent pipe.Nov. 1, 2021 - JS paid GD $1591 by cashier's check for the pipe needed for the job . (Labor expenses are not a part of complaint.)$714 in materials was never supplied. GD claimed repeated and ongoing delivery and back-order problems from Nov. 5, 2021-Jan. 2022. (Later JS verified that all materials WERE available locally and online.) ** made many attempts to collect the $714. Jan. 25, 2022 The last day GD was on the job.GD also owes $397 for JS's cost for name-brand materials to finish the job.By Nov., 2022. JS had "saved up", found good pipe prices and a new installer.Total owed by GD to JS for merchandise not received- $714+$397=$1,111.It should be noted that after nearly 2 months delay GD finally put in a temporary system she didn't approve on Dec. 20 and 22, 2021. He promised to correct this in the first few days of Jan. - pipe would be in "by or before Jan. 1" 2022.In the 3rd week of January ** realized her two phones' calls and texts had been blocked for weeks by GD's two phones. ** confronted the issue by leaving word on GD's girlfriend/helper's phone after finding the phone # online. GD contacted ** with angry denials, but unblocked the phones. JS didn't believe GD intended to do the job. Fearing the worst, she had it inspected. There was no air space/clearance at the roof - major fire safety code violation. The FIRE MARSHAL ordered JS to stop using the stove. "It will cause a roof fire."JS conveyed this to GD, who fixed the issue on Jan. 25, 2022 with s**** driver, chip by chip. At this point JS would accept the pipe or a cash refund. She'd hire a new installer for 2022/2023. GD agreed he owed JS for the pipe, but never paid. JS bought all new pipe and had the job redone by a reputable individual.
