    I would leave a zero star rating if I could. These people are unlicensed, uninsured and completely unscrupulous. We hired them to do some restoration work for damages caused by hurricane Florence. Unfortunately, instead of completing the job as agreed, in the time quoted (3 wks max) they made little headway, only showing up at most 2 days a week. After 2 1/2 months of our home being destroyed, we fired these individuals and hired a licensed contractor to finish the job. Unfortunately, we had already paid the swindler the entire contract price. Now 14 months later, the roof is leaking, the floor is sinking, the ceiling is falling in and the sheetrocked walls are actually melting. On top of that, the outside light fixtures are installed upside down, and the roof is "curved " and without any of the overhang you would expect. The worst part, there's nothing we can do, and the NC licensing board won't intercede even though Saunders Restoration performed work that requires a licensed (i.e. plumbing and electrical work) Even sadder, we can't afford to pay someone else to fix it. When we contacted ***** ******** about what was happening, his response was we were getting What we deserved for firing him. What a nightmare...I know this seems to much to be true, but I can back it all up with videos, photos, contracts and cancelled checks. BEWARE!!! Stay away from these people
