    I gave a deposit for 6 plantation shutters for our new home on 8/24/24 in the amount of $2,075.00. I've tried calling and texting the seller and no reply. I got one reply saying they would call me that day but never did. There are numerous complaints in the area of him doing the same thing, taking their deposit and not delivering the goods.

    I ordered shutters, front door blind and the porch shades from Coastal Blinds ans Shutters, LLC. The shuttters and front door blind were received and I am very happy with that part of the purchase. The porch shades have never been received. I have called **** multiple times about this order. He had explained that it was on back order. Then he said he was going to order from another supplier because of the delays. Then he set up an appointment for installation on May 8, 2024. Then I got a text message delaying the installation because he had been rushed to the hospital for kidney stones and they would reschedule the installation. By May 24, **************************************************************************************************************************** touch with a firm installation date. When I had not heard back by the end of June I called and found the office phone and cell phone disconnected. I tried again 2 times in July with the same disconnection messages. I am filing this complaint now to see what can be done.

    Blinds ordered and never received. Not in business anymore? Phone messages not answered . Took deposit and new showed up on scheduled installation date.

    *****************************, owner of business (Coastal Blinds and Shutters ****************, **) came to our property, measured and selected blinds on February 16, 2024 order was placed and deposit paid ($1710.31) on February 29, 2024. I inquired about installation in March and installation date was to be May 3rd. I was led to believe that all was well - I checked with him the week before installation to confirm - he said yes he'd be there, on day of install May 3rd - he told me he had to check to make sure he had everything. He didn't call me back, did not show up, later that day I told him I want my deposit back. He gave a long excuse of why he didn't have blinds/manufacturer delays etc. He said he would give me back my deposit. I checked back each week since and no check. **** lied about ever ordering the blinds, never intended on installing my blinds, let us arrange for someone to be at the house for the install that never happened. He was arrested on May 14th for felony worthless check. There are many people affected by this (4 ****** reviews so far with the same experience. His business needs to be investigated, he is basically stealing people's money!
