This business performed over $4k repairs on my motorcycle. It went in for a battery. I never was informed of scope of work or parts used. Labor and parts charges were outrageous. ******** maintains that bike needed all this because it was neglected. This bike was well maintained, used regularly, and performed smoothly the week before it went into shop. When I attempted to negotiate a more realistic price, owner threatened to destroy engine and fry all electrics rather than accept less. I called the sheriffs **** because it is illegal to threaten to destroy or vandalize someones property. At that point, he offered a $3k invoice to the sheriff deputy to pass on to me. All my communications with him were done by text because he is abusive. . All his communications were rambling, frankly unhinged. When I went to get my motorcycle, I brought two neighbors with me because l was very uncomfortable to go alone. he insisted that I sign a harmless lien hold waiver which my lawyer had told me is illegal. Had to call the sheriffs department again and even though it is illegal, they cant physically force him so I wouldve had to go back hire a lawyer and take him to court. So I signed this document, but it also included the fact that the vehicle would be returned with the valid NC inspection report. I was also charged for that on the invoice. He refuses to enter it into the system or provide hardcopy and told me that with another abusive text. Of course its illegal for him to do that, but it is a time consuming and tedious process to report. The reason I could not take him to small claims court in the first place is because I did not get a signed customer service agreement. I have put a post on local social media without referencing the name of his shop, but included background and photo of invoice. The response was overwhelming . Almost every post knew where the shop was and shared stories of the same type of experience. Many have been harmed. Shameful!

******** has been a customer of mine for years. We had developed a good business relationship. So good that I had picked up her motorcycle for hurricane ******** in 2018 & again in 2019 ****** so it would not get flooded. Her ************* flood. I never even charged her for these services ! The fact is we did everything ******** ***** asked us to. We did not spring anything on her as she is implying here. Phone records will prove out how wrong she is. We spoke hours, at times we used text messaging. Her motorcycle turned into quicksand. Tires original from 2009 ! Supplied her with *************** of her motorcycle I have had many phone conversations over the last 24 months while we were putting her water damaged motorcycle back together. There was never any budget given. Her motorcycle is worth 8k. Due to her health she switched gears & told me she was probably going to sell it. At no point did I agree to work for free or provide free parts and labor. To help her go away we did just that after doing about 6k worth of work I thought she would be happy with an invoice for 4k. At first she did not want to pay me then offered me 2k. I ended up splitting the difference at 3k. I am here almost 30 years. I have had good customers go bad. Selling their home, health situations crop up, financial pictures change. I get it. What I do not get is we provided her with nothing short of a miracle. I have no idea why she is writing her derogatory remarks all over the internet. ** was given the choice to pay the already discounted invoice or accept a 25% discount which was giving her free tires, a free battery and taking 500$ off of the labor. for 3025$ but she would have to sign a waver. She took the discount & is still angry with me. I guess being angry with all her neighbors managing the *** is not enough for her. She is moving ... Beware if you work for her. We supplied her with an state inspection report but she lost it. It is in the ************ should have had no problems registering it.
