I have a signed agreement from Mr. ******** for $4615.00 to paint his vehicle. I also have an agreement for $1550 & $600 to restore the interior of the vehicle. Mr. ******** stated that he was happy with interior of the vehicle but unhappy with the results of the exterior work. The next day Mr. ******** stated that he wanted to come pick up the vehicle even though I was not finished & that he was going to "park" the vehicle at a friend's house. He then took it to another shop & received another estimate to repaint the vehicle. At that time I refunded Mr. ******** $750 for the job which I am not obligated to do considering I have a signed agreement and the ok to proceed with the repairs to the vehicle. I cannot finish the job if I do not have the vehicle, and Mr. ******** did not allow me to do so. I have contacted my attorney & will proceed if necessary. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because I was told at first the ceramic paint is what was needed to make car shine and that it would be an additional $1600,After seeing car and my disappointment, he stated ceramic coating isn't a paint, its a protective coating and I would need candy paint to obtain the shine I wanted. Look at the picture he provide and how dull the new paint job is on a new paint job. Mr **** had already applied the ceramic coating and want to re-sand the car to apply touch up paint and an additional coat. Yes, I took the car because his work was that poor. Who puts touch up paint on a new paint? Job nothing like his website pictures. I had given him enough monies. Took the car to other shops and it was indicated I will have to pay $4500 to get car repainted because of such a poor job on the car. Has to be completely re-sand. I have paint on rims, new decals, and windshield

    Sincerely,

    ****** *******

There is not much else to say, Mr. ******** admittedly took the car without even allowing me to accomplish the task at hand. I have presented before and after pictures of the vehicle showing how rough the paint was before and how much better it looked after. I was in the middle of still working on the vehicle & was not allowed the proper time to finish what I started. When I spoke with Mr. ******** prior to starting the job he stated "I'm not expecting the car to look brand new" and " I know what I gave you " I cannot finish or guarantee satisfaction of a vehicle if I do not have it in my possession & my attorney agrees. I believe Mr. ******** does not possess the knowledge of restoring a vehicle and should have researched the type of paint job he wanted. After almost being complete Mr. ******** insinuated that he wanted a different type of paint job than what he had originally expressed.
