      I was seen in March 2022 at the ******* location in ******, NC and was seen by ***** ********. I was under the impression that I would go through a hearing test and discuss the possibility of hearing aids if needed and would go back to the office at a later date. During my appointment Mr. ******** ashamed/pressured/bullied me into purchasing the hearing aids that same day. Mr. ******** told me to try out the hearing aids for 30 days and I would receive a full refund if I was not satisfied. I picked up the hearing aids on approximately April 20 and tried them out several times at home and decided that they were not right for me at this time. I had a follow-up appt on April 27 and I was unable to keep that appointment due to my work schedule. (I am self-employed and could not leave my business) Inadvertently, I miscalculated the 30 day time frame from the April 27 date instead of the April 20 date. I attempted to return the hearing aids on May 25 and was told I was outside the 30 day refund window. I explained the situation to the front office personnel and was told to email *******. I do so many times over the next month or so and finally received an email back on June 14 denying my refund.
