    In March of 2023 I hired Coastal Roofing and Siding to replace my roof. We agreed on a written price of approx. $******** During the process of replacement, the contractor called and said some of the fascia had rotted away and need to be replaced. I asked for a quote and they said ********* over the phone and I agreed. After the job was completed, I paid the ******** for the roof replacement. After the ******** payment they give me another invoice for the fascia. It was not the ******** *hey quoted over the phone but was doubled to ********. I told them I never authorized a repair for the ********. Now they are threatening legal action if I do not pay

    Coastal Roofing & Siding was contracted by Mr* ****** in February 2024, not 2023. We originally gave him a FORTIFIED roof estimate., which was approved and signed via electronic signature on February 27th, 2024.  Upon our roofing scope performed, there was rot discovered and it was needed to be fixed as for the roof to be acceptable. Mr* ****** claims no photos were sent but they were however sent via email to him and NCJUA for proof of roof completion on 4/1/2024. On the final invoice it was notated the soffit and fascia would be invoiced separately. Mr* ****** was emailed an invoice on 4/23/2024 for ********* for the soffit and fascia work that had been completed. There was no communication from him or dispute at that time. His invoice was resent on 5/14/2024 as payment had not been made. and there was still no reply or communication from Mr. ******. I again resent the past due invoice to Mr* ****** on 5/28/2024 and at that time he reached out and said this price was not discussed (however multiple attempts have been made and no response from him). Mr* ****** has since paid ********* and we have all concluded a ******* discount and payment for ********* *s to be paid.
