    My husband, ******* paid Crawlspace Tech **** $382 via ****** on Sunday, October 13, 2024 to dry out a crawlspace at a rental townhouse located at **********************. This was 50% of the fee which **** ****** e-mailed me was required to proceed. Although, I received confirmation that payment was received, I never received a receipt. I did however, receive notification that work he would begin work on October 15. Between October 15 and October 17, I received several texts which consisted of excuses for why he couldnt start and promises of when he would begin. After October 17, all communication with **** ****** stopped. On October 18, I sent an e-mail to ***** ****** (whose name was listed beside company name) requesting a refund. On October 23 I received an e-mail from ***** ****** stating he had not been involved with the company for 5 years, however he would consult his lawyer and have accountant send refund by November 15 if that is the direction we are going to take. After conferring with a representative from BBB, I decided to wait and see if a refund would be issued. It was not.

    ********************* charged $2665 to fully restore insulation and 100% cover the exposed earth in the crawl space and remove all organic growth on floor joists. The guy that did the original work for **** was fired. None of these three job requirements is complete. **** promised to come back in summer humidity to recheck this work. Despite numerous calls, voice messages, and emails, he does not respond. He sent his friend *** once (a former business associate) in his place when he was ill, and *** agreed that the job was incomplete, there was organic growth yet to be cleaned, insulation was missing, and gaps in the plastic were present. He said he would report all of this to ****. **** did not reply to my email after *** inspected the crawl space. My realtor recommended *********************, she could not get him to reply either, said others were not hearing from him either. Interesting, a review of his business on BBB has a reply we know of no job that is incomplete . That is not true, he has been repeatedly notified he needs to finish the job, including by his associate ***, his last email reply (Oct 2022) said thanks for your patience, i have you floating on the calendar.
