      I've had accounts with ********************** for at least 20 years, one of which being a mortgage, and the other being a personal loan that I have been paying on for at least two years WITH NO LATE PAYMENTS. I have had my hours reduced at work without warning, and asked for a two month delay on my loan payments until my hours pick back up. Filled out all of their c*** paperwork, had to JUSTIFY it even though I sent them paystubs with a 'need' letter, and they STILL denied me after jumping through SEVERAL hoops. I was embarrassed to ask for help, and after being told no, I told the person over the phone EXACTLY what I thought about them. They are not there to help where other banks would help you with less 'documentation' of need. After I pay off my loan, they will NEVER get my business again. I told them when I don't make my payment because I can't, it will be their fault for not helping me.

      They make the customer pay for their mistakes,everyone you speak to tell you something different.Decided to refinance now I'm having a hard time getting them to email my 10 day pay off.Worst experience ever! Run

      Unfortunately no one that works there knows the policies they carry. I spoke to 3 different people on the same day asking the same questions and they all gave me a different answer. Even when I was told to email and send some information the person that emailed me back gave me a whole different answer. Making me pay for extra fees because of their mistake. They will only apologize but not fix their mistake. They wasted my time and money. Dont use them unless you are desperate!

      If you bank with coastal you need to move your loans and money asap. They are predatory lenders and will close your accounts with no notice that are up to date on payments and tale what you have paid for. Complaints have been filed with the banking commission and lawsuits are in progress. If you are one of the good bankers which they do have as well I hope you find new employment quickly.

      They refused to release my hard eared money and gave me the run around about getting the full amount of the check. I was a new customer and they still refused to release my money to me! Dont bank with them if you want your money on time. They wanna hold it for themselves.

      Horrible company! STAY AWAY!!! They will attempt ACH when automated is NOT EVEN SET UP. I made a payment using Speedpay....guess what? IT DOESN'T EXIST APPARENTLY!! They have cost me SO MUCH MONEY IN OVERDRAFT AND BANK FEE!!! I repeat; STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A BANK. I'd give a negative 5 stars if I could.

      Awful customer service and support - will not address issues with automated tellers and small disputes. Advice move to another financial institution before you are leaving a similar review.

      Ive been trying to just log into my account and the phone numbers they have listed for security purpose are not mine or any number I know, I tried calling to fix it and no hope, registering my account was also a pain, makes me not wanna bank with them no more if even the simplest things dont work.

      I called in about a fraudulent transaction on my account. My card was cancelled and a new one was sent out. I didn't here back from costal and decided to to check my e-docs. I saw I received a letter stating it was denied. I called and was told it was denied due to a pin being used???? I was then transferred to a rep who was frustrated and annoyed that I was transferred to her. I told her I could sense her frustration and to allow me to speak to someone else . She actually hung up on me. I know that the coastal customer service has a reputation for not so great customer interactions, but to actually hang up me while discussing my money is very disappointing. I only want to understand how this happens and why my bank isn't trying to find out.

      Coastal reviewed the members concern and reached out to the member three times via the contact information provided in the complaint. Coastal apologized for the members experience and explained that we have involved the ************** manager to review calls and coach the employee on Coastals service standards and expectations. As of today, we have not received a response from the member.

      I recently called customer service to request an early release of my direct deposit work check. I explained that we had severe storm damage and all of our food had to be trown out. We habe been without power for 2 days. I have recently been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and am diabetic. They were unable to help me. I have been a customer for over 10 years. So disappointed. As a credit union they boast about helping the community. But can not help their loyal customers. My husband and I both had pending direct deposits. How hard is it to give me my money?
