    I'm so sick of America allowing these companies to take advantage of its citizens. I was just denied a job and apartment because this sorry excuse of a company is reporting that I was found guilty of my charges and that is not true! I do not have a record so why would you release such a false and nasty information. I see they are pushing back in the comments, but we all can't be lying on them. I requested the paperwork from the leasing office, and it says Record Vendor: Genuine Data Services LLC.

    I noticed that they are claiming they dont report any of this, but on my actual report, it says they are the ones that provided the information. They told the *************************** that I am a felon. I am not a felon. I dont see how they can get away with this.     This company has violated my rights !! They are inaccurately reporting a criminal history that does not pertain to me, despite me providing evidence of its inaccuracy. Consequently, this company should not be considered a reliable resource for rental or employment screening. Despite numerous attempts to contact them via email to rectify this issue, they have not responded to my communications or have called me. This ongoing misrepresentation is hindering my ability to secure housing and has caused me severe stress as I am a single mother and is constantly getting denied for housing. As a result, I am now in the process of seeking legal counsel to pursue a civil case against them.

    Provided inaccurate/out dated information about criminal history which caused me to lose an apartment and still struggling to find a place to live. Tried twice emailing them with no response and no phone listed to call them

    False information on my credit . *** told them three times and nothing has been done about it. Showed them proof and still nothing! Information that shouldnt be on there!

    This company reports false information. I am filing a formal complaint against their erroneous practices. I was denied for housing due to inaccurate reporting to the Apt complex which caused me to lose money! I have attempted to dispute the erroneous information coming up from another person with the same name. The information they are reporting is not me and the full name, ssn or dob does not match.

    A Data Services Company that supplies criminal data to other companies for the purpose of screening for tenants is obliged to obey the laws of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Genuine Data Services reported a criminal charge to a tenant screening firm and reported it to be an open case. This particular charge is indeed a closed case, a sealed case, and not a conviction. It should never have been reported. DO NOT USE this company for your background checks. They are not following the law, or reporting with due diligence. Use another reputable company that reports records with accuracy, and follows the FCRA law.
