      Safeway Moving ************, DOT ******* MC1647711 First the sales person gives you a much lower quote and pressure you into signing a contract without carefully going over the inventory, rules and responsibilities as well as expectations (pick up, drop off, correct estimate time to deliver). You are passed around to different agent that ultimately leaves you more frustrated because no one knows what was discussed prior. Once movers arrived they did a more detail inventory and ended up leaving multiple things off the original list due to space. I was able to substitute some items BUT after the truck was loaded was told the new and increase price of almost $1000 plus the fact they were charging me to go up 7 steps (my contract says stairs are included on original invoice). I told the movers I am paying for the estimate I discussed with Safeway Moving ************ due to inconsistency. They told me safe way does not have the authority to give me a price as they are two different companies. The movers insisted I pay cash again after everything was loaded. I was told my first delivery date was in 4 days, items picked up Aug 31st so around sept 4th. 1 week past and after emailing, calling all I was told is that it could take up to 14 days then around 2 week **** I was told up to 30 days. They also threatened to keep my items if I did report them. Between my items being picked up and 14 days later zero communication from the company or the movers. This business is unprofessional in the manner it conducts itself. The customer service reps ******************************* and ********************* are rude and ill tempered. There is no communication once they collect your money The moving company does not communicate once they have your stuff After multiple emails and phone calls there is no follow up The delivery and expectations is a moving target and there is nothing you can no I would NEVER recommend this company.
