    This letter constitutes a formal complaint to BBB regarding unsatisfactory work performed by Rita & Sons Services LLC on a kitchen remodeling project at my residence. On 11.1.24, I contracted with ***** ******* (***************) to perform the following services:Tiling of the kitchen floor Replacement of the kitchen countertop Installation of a kitchen backsplash Unfortunately, I have paid the full amount of $6300 for these services.Despite the project being initiated on October 28, 2024, with an anticipated completion date around Thanksgiving, the project remains significantly incomplete.The work performed by falls far below acceptable professional standards. Specifically:Kitchen Floor:The floor exhibits numerous defects: cracked grout, spacers embedded in the hardened grout, and uneven surfaces (lippage).The improper raising of the kitchen floor height by 2 inches has caused significant structural damage to my home:Cutting the base of my back door, resulting in misalignment, and drafts.Cutting the pantry door base Cutting doorframe molding Creating a 2-inch trip hazard at both kitchen entrances.Permanently blocking my dishwasher by tiling in front of it.These issues were caused by a lack of proper planning and consultation Kitchen Countertop:incorrect measurements, misaligned seams, and improper installation of the sink and faucet.The countertop is beyond repair and requires complete replacement.Backsplash:no work has been performed on the backsplash.I have attempted to resolve this matter amicably by proposing the following options:Partial Refund: A refund of $4,000, including $1,340 previously discussed and $2,660 for the ******************** Claim: I am willing to pursue a claim with insurance company if they provide their license and insurance ***************** Action: to address the damages and recover all monetary losses incurred due to this unsatisfactory work.
