  This company came to my house while I was away and took advantage of my wife, who was looking for a solution to leaks on the roof He was here less than an hour worked on a small piece of the roof, not much of the problem of the leaky roof And charged $500 for less than an hours work.

  ******** wife called in to our company about a roof repair. We discussed the roof leak and I told her the price of the roof repair, being a flat rate fee of ****** plus service tax on all roof repair jobs. I scheduled the day and time, drove out and met with her and fixed the leak and it comes with a 5-year warranty in writing. When it came to pay for the roof repair her husband, who I never met or spoke to before, fussed at his wife in a yelling conversation and embarrassed her in a shamefully way as a man to treat his wife. Then he was pointing his anger towards me, and I told, him. I have a flat rate fee and I was hired to take care of a roof repair and he needed to stop yelling at me as if I am the problem. He then gathered cash money and paid me and told me to leave the house and his wife was humiliated and said she was very sorry. But this is the real story and there is nothing else to say. This man has anger issues and as far as I am concerned, we were hired, and we were paid and they have a written warranty on the repair that was made. There will be no return of funds at all.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  He only fixed one place in the roof that was leaking and said he would have to come back to fix the other place. If he wouldve fixed all the leaks for the $500 he promised everything would be fine. But he did not do that. He repaired one small leak that took him less than an hour total time at our house and said $500.

  I fixed the roof leak area shown to me on the outside wall in a bedroom by the outside door, from your wife and it is fixed. That is what you paid $500.00 for. Furthermore, I did tell her and you, that you have other problems in another location near the chimney, which is on the other side of the house. This would require the section to be re roofed from the size of the area and would cost $3,500.00. This was not worked on and only an estimate was given verbally. 

  Please note: the roof repair cost includes advertising and marketing cost, fuel cost, materials, and 30 years of experience. By the time it is done with taxes paid. I make ****** net. So, if you don't like the prices of today's cost contact your congressman and senator, because they raise the cost on everything. But as for me I operate inside the freedoms of America and what it provides us a citizen of *******. Free trade, free commerce, free enterprise and I have the rights to set my own prices, and it is up to the person to hire me based upon the information given. In this case a $500.00 flat minimum fee was given and your wife on the phone before I was told to come out, who she is legal adult and on the deed of the house, hired me to come to fix the roof leak she described to me and shown me the location on the house. The job was completed, and you received an invoice with a five-year warranty on the work.    My question to you: If this job is so ***** in your mind and not worth the money, then how come you did not fix it?
