      My deceased brother in law bought 2 new tires from the Smithfield location on 1/18/23. Within several weeks, the tires came apart and he returned to the shop. The Mgr replaced them with the very same tires. Because he and my sister were very sick, the car was driven very little. I was driving her to Georgia on May 10 when the tires separated and I had to get new tires put on the car to AVOID BEING KILLED OR SERIOUSLY INJURED. The Georgia tire dealer showed me the *** number on the tires which indicated they were not new tires but already 12 years OLD !!!! The shop was selling them to many unsuspecting customers. Mgr claimed he had no idea they were that old. He recruited the man who sold them to him to talk to me, also claimed he did not know they were that old. ******* knew how to read and look up age of tires on *** website to verify. I wanted to talk to the owner but was referred instead to his Henchman I was only able to bring one of the tires back in the car to show them the problem., because of room. They refused to let me talk to the owner or give me his name. I tracked him down and left messages and he refuses to call me back ( *************************** ), What I asked for was refused by the Henchman . Only thing he would offer was a refund on a set of those (2) m 12 year old tires that could have killed us both BUT only if I returned Both of them, knowing I only brought one back with me from Ga. Documentation from the other tire dealer, along with one of the tires was not enough. ************************************** reminds me of a Mafia henchman. He was so nasty that I hung up on him. I was concerned that many others have been scammed with these dangerous tires. I will say that the Manager of the Smithfield store was concerned, as well as the Man who sold the tires to him on a side deal . The owners Mouthpiece ( Henchman ) could care less about the problem and was very belligerent. AVOID THE 4 LOCATIONS OF THIS BUSINESS .

      6/11/22 Arrived for 2 tire replacements (front) ABSOLUTE worst customer service.. The manager damaged my wheels and tried to say that I should've had photos of the wheels before having tires replaced, but after I showed him i have a video of both sides before arriving he told me he has been doing this for "20 years" and he has never scuffed and wheels... and then went on to point to a sign that says they are not reliable for wheel damage. I am/was furious and threw them the money told them this is a shitty shop.. because it is and he proceeded to ball up the money and threw it at my car and said "take this shitty shit" i have a video showing both sides of the wheel before arriving to the shop aswell.
