  ? ZERO STARS Predatory, Unethical, and Downright Nasty Avoid Aces Towing and Recovery on *. ****** St. in ******* like the plague. These people arent running a towing service theyre running a predatory racket. They admitted to patrolling private residential lots looking for cars to ******, without warning and without justification. This isnt about serving the community or following the law this is about squeezing money out of innocent drivers through shady, underhanded practices.The front desk staff? Rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. They act like youre inconveniencing them when you try to get basic information. No transparency, no accountability just a lot of attitude and power-tripping over people in stressful situations.What theyre doing should be illegal. Its unethical, its abusive, and its exactly the kind of operation that gives the entire industry a bad name. If youve ever had your car towed by Aces, chances are you were targeted not lawfully towed.Steer clear of this place. Better yet, report them. Predatory businesses like this dont deserve to operate.

  I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way and we appreciate the opportunity to share our side.  However, I want to clarify that the claims made in your message are not accurate.  North Carolina law strictly prohibits predatory towing practices and requires towing companies, including Ace Towing, to operate under a standing agreement with the private property owner or management.  We do not and cannot tow from any private property without proper authorization.  The residential community you reside in has established the parking rules and regulations that we are contracted to enforce.  We understand it can be frustrating to find your vehicle towed, but please know that enforcement is based solely on violations of those rules; never on personal targeting.  If you believe the rules are unfair or improperly enforced, we encourage you to address those concerns directly with your communitys management.  Our role is simply to follow the guidelines theyve put in place.  Ace Towing has proudly operated as an ethical and law-abiding towing company for over 30 years.  We take our responsibility seriously and are committed to treating all individuals with fairness and respect.  We hope this clears up any misunderstanding.  If you have any further questions or would like additional clarification, please dont hesitate to reach out.

  Don't contract with this predatory towing company. They seem to enjoy towing disabled ladies cars while they are sleeping. The car was parked in my assigned space, in front of the home I live in. The parking pass had fallen and was in the passenger floorboards. I had driven home last night for an emergency vet visit this morning. Which I had to cancel as I had no transportation. I have recommended to my HOA that they terminate the contract with ACE in favor of a more ethical towing company. These people are predators.

  Unfortunately, Ace Towing does not have access to specific details, that you mentioned, about a vehicle before towing.  Our only information is that if a vehicle complies with the propertys regulations, it will not be towed.  The property where you reside only grants Ace Towing authorization to monitor during nighttime and early morning hours, with towing authorized solely for parking permit violations ONLY.
  We have detailed pictures demonstrating that our driver conducted a thorough inspection of your vehicle before towing, confirming that the parking permit was not overlooked.  The reviews you have posted are unjust, as they criticize us for carrying out a task that was authorized.  We will also be reaching out to the property management to provide our side of the story, as the account you have given does not accurately reflect the situation.

  I am an elderly disabled veteran. I was in a car accident and haven't driven in a while due to my accident. I placed an order for my tags through the *** app which takes 7 to 10 days to reach you. I decided to go visit my friend and Ace towing and recovery towed my car. I had to pay *********************************************************************************** my 200 dollars.There are business that work for our communities because they care about the people in addition to making money. Ace towing and Recovery do not care about their community. Anyone who sees this company run the other way. They are heartless.By the way ****'s'and *****'s towing have great reviews.

  I apologize that you had the experience you had! Unfortunately, the property you visited requests for Ace Towing to remove vehicles from their private property that display of expired tags. The community, as well as, Ace Towing allows at least a 60 day grace ****** for any vehicle to display of non-registered plates. After that ******, the resident/tenant is then responsible for keeping all plates current or contacting management otherwise. The statement above also applies to their guests. The refusal of refund was simply due to the fact that our driver was requested to perform a service and the driver indeed did what was asked. I'm sorry you feel the way you do, however, we are not heartless people. We are human beings, with families, who work for a living. When we are given a job to do, as a company, that is an expectation for ** to meet!
