    I went in for a flu and covid test months ago and they had an issue processing my insurance. Instead of calling my insurance company or reaching out to me about the issue, they billed $465 to my card that I used for my copay, without any notice. I did not receive a bill in the mail, an email, or a phone call, just $465 taken from my account. I was able to get everything straightened out between *** and my insurance and my insurance company sent payment to *** two months ago but I still have not received a refund. Every time I call for an update on my refund, the duration that their refund team needs to review keeps increasing. After reading through some of the reviews on AFC Urgent Care Midtown, it looks like I am not the only one who has had an experience like this. The most frustrating part of this is that I never authorized the $465 to be charged to my account and I would not have even know if I had not checked my bank app. My insurance company is in network with *** clinic so I don't even understand how they had an issue billing my insurance in the first place. Is it legal to charge a client like this without any notice like this? I would be happy to discuss further if necessary **************
