I built a website for my company using Bluehost website builder. ( ****************************** )The platform didn't work, but the content was great. I contracted Reid's Computer Sales & Service to build a website for my company, ******** ****** ******** ******. I paid $750 upfront, 1/2 of the fee of, $1500. It was to be finished on 12/10/22, but it wasn't. He knew I had a big sales event on 2/28/23 with over 400 buyers. I texted him on 12/23/22 and told him I wasn't happy with the content he created. He had changed some of the critical wording, changed pictures, used stock pictures instead of mine and it wasn't grammatically correct. It was overall, horrible. He said to send him the changes I wanted. I emailed those to him. He said he copied the content from my website. He absolutely didn't. He texted me on 1/5/23, and told me he was going to do the changes and would contact me when he was done. No changes were made until the end of Jan. They weren't the changes I had asked for. I still hadn't heard from him, so I went to his business on 2/1/23 and told him that I wasn't happy with the content. He was very belligerent and yelled at me the entire time. He was scrolling on his computer and told me I needed to make an appt, that he didn't have time to talk to me. He said he would have to charge me again, since he had already made two websites for me (he's speaking of the website I contracted him to make) I said, "so you have stolen my $750 down payment for nothing and now you want to charge me again." I haven't received the product I was paying for nor have I approved any content per our contract. The contract said non refundable deposit, which is a total scam. He didn't care if I liked what he had done or not. He obnoxiously told me I would just have to use my old website. I will include pictures from my old website and the content he created. It was inept at best. What an absolutely horrible experience. I would appreciate it if you could get my down payment back.

We did the work that was asked. The customer had a basic product that she could not navigate nor make the necessary changes to update her old site. She contacted us to build her a new site that we would maintain and update for her.

She agreed to the terms of the contract and we designed her new site. According to the contract once the site is ready to be proofed for edits the customer comes in and we discuss changes. The customer came in and she gave us the changes she wanted to be completed. We made the changes per her request. A week later she sent an email with additional changes, which we also completed. The customer then came to the office stating she did not love the website and started making demands to redo a new website

just like her old one. I told her that if we designed her a new website she would have to pay another website fee. She then said she wanted her money back. I then told her that we do not work for free, and she just looked at me. I asked her if she had even read the contract and she just stared at me. She got up walked to the door yelled something and walked out. I did not yell at her nor was I rude during the interaction. I have cameras throughout my office that caught the meeting on video. She is lying. We completed the site and only recieved half of our payment. She has since deleted the new site and put up amother half compete blog. We are still owed the remander of the money due per the contract.
