      12/1/2016 I enrolled in a dual enrollment course for doula and childbirth educator training. One of the claims of Birth Arts is that you can work at your own pace. In December 2023, I logged into my account and there was a notice that the classroom on birtharts.net would be closing and moving to a new site. In February 2024, I attempted to log into the new classroom and was unable to so I emailed the Director of ************************, on February 19th and received no response. On March 3rd, I again emailed ******** the same message I had sent on 2/19/2024 and received a response that my enrollment has expired. There was absolutely zero notification upon purchasing these courses that they expire in any way shape or form. Again, the premise of these classes is that you can work at your own pace. ******** responds that there has been a notice on the classroom that it was closing- I acknowledged that I saw the message. She said for 2 years there was a bridge program to one grandfathered into the new classroom. I submitted assignments in 2021 and receive all of her emails regarding sales so I asked her when did she send an email to past students stating what we needed to do to take advantage of the bridge program and she did not answer. Her response is that I had been enrolled for 8 years (which was actually 7) and that membership is not for a lifetime despite there being no notice when I signed up of an expiration date nor any notification of the change in policy. At this point, I want a refund as I havent completed the classes and she will not give me access. As of 3/5, she has removed me from the childbirth educator ************** that I have been part of since 2016.
