    Complaint Against: Mad Katz Rods Product/Service Involved: Fishing Rods Order Date: April 15, 2025 Date of First Contact Regarding Issue: May 18, 2025 Complaint Description:On April 15, 2025, I placed an order with Mad Katz Rods for specific fishing rods. When my order arrived, I did not immediately realize that the wrong items had been sent. It wasnt until I went to use the rods on the water that I noticed the mistake.On May 18, 2025, I contacted the company via email to notify them of the error and requested an exchange for the correct items. In response, Mad Katz informed me that because the rods had been "used," they were unwilling to send me the products I had originally orderedeven though the mistake originated from their end.I find this response unacceptable. As a customer, I fulfilled my responsibility by placing the correct order. The error was only discovered upon first use, and I notified the company as soon as I became aware of it. I believe Mad Katz should take responsibility for their fulfillment error and provide the correct items as originally ordered.Based on this experience, I am dissatisfied with the company's service and unwillingness to correct their mistake. I am requesting that Mad Katz Rods send me the correct fishing rods or provide a full refund.

    We at Mad Katz are EXTEMELY sorry for the inconvenience caused Mr. ********* As attached our policy that includes our statement on incorrect shipments.  It is our policy that if a mis shipment occurs we ask the customer not to use the equipment and to contact us immediately.  I went a step further, seeing that Mr. ******** had used his equipment and offered a discount on a future order.
