      This company refuses to refund our $2954.31 deposit. We paid the Deposit upon receipt of Invoice No. 8217 dated May 30, 2024; the Deposit was a portion of the total amount of $7,506.66 quoted on April 4, 2024 for the replacement of a swimming pool liner and the associated labor. Based on the initial quote and text messages between **************** and myself, we understood the company would not schedule measuring the pool for a new liner nor order the replacement liner until the Deposit was paid. After we paid the deposit the text exchanges turned rude and unprofessional. **************** referred to me as sweetheart, later condoning it because she was from the South and their company is a family company, and stating, I cant play these games with you sweetheart. . . We are very very busy and I dont have time to ask 1000 questions. So lets nip this in the bud and you tell me when youre going to be able to allow us to come. For the first time in our communication, **************** referred to coming to measure during suitable work hours, but did not indicate what those hours were. I asked for a full deposit refund. It was not until after I initially asked for the deposit return that **************** decided to allege that I had breached nonexistent terms of an agreement by refusing to give the company a time to come measure the pool, despite still not telling me the normal work hours of the company, despite having communicated with me outside the normal work hours later stated in our communications.She refuses to return the Deposit has further indicated that she would be deducting for her time from the Deposit before any refund. This is unacceptable and likely constitutes unfair and deceptive trade practices, particularly when paired with the to-date refusal to return the Deposit. After my fourth and final refund request, **************** responded, You can take me to court. As of today, we have received no response and the deposit has not been refunded.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  I also had an attorney send a request letter to them to refund my full deposit.  They received the letter but they have not responded to anything and have not refunded by deposit.
