On Saturday, June 29, 2024 at approximately 2:00 pm, Kluttz Wrecker Service brought a van to my neighbors house, at least that was the intended address, however instead of pulling into their driveway, they pulled into mine and knocked down my fence at the end of the driveway and destroyed my light that was there. They had a hard time getting out of my driveway then went next door to the intended address which is ********************************************** *********, ** *****. When we contacted this company, the first thing the guy said was that the neighbor told him to do that. Then he claimed that he has about 12 cameras on his truck. Maybe he does, but he didnt take responsibility for destroying my property. He wouldnt even take the time to come assess the damage he did. He started cussing at us and stated to call the police and disconnected the line. We contacted the police and was told this would be a civil matter and we would need to contact an attorney.

Good afternoon I was responding to a letter we received the other day from ***********************. Reference code 21923487-67F7D. I spoke to ********** believe on Tuesday and we talked about the incident. In the end I told him I would take care of his fence. I have a handyman that I use regularly and told him I would have him call and arrange a good time in the next week to come fix his fence. Thank you ******* Kluttz

My car was towed Aug 15 2022 after being in an accident. I spoke with a female worker on the morning of the 22nd to find out my fees. I was told that she wasnt at the office and would give me a call when she got back. I never received a callback. I spoke with a male employee on the 25th and was told it would be 800 to get my car out. 250 tow 40 a day storage and 150 for paperwork to be sent to Raleigh. I asked what would I have to do if can couldnt pay. I was told pay 150 and signed my title over. I then spoke to a female employee on Sept 1 and was told she filed a lien on my car. I dont know how soon the lien was replaced on it but its not even a month in. Im not aware of lien or tow charge laws but this is highway robbery. The tow was only 3miles from the towyard. I dont want to lose my car but I also dont have that type of money. I cant cancel my insurance bc they wont let me get my tag without getting a release form from the police department but im not sure if I do if that would be the same as saying I dont want it. Please if there is anything that can be help me. I need help resolving this at a cheaper rate.

I am Sherri L*** the secretary of Kluttz Garage and Wrecker Service. I am writing you in the regards of the compliant of ******** *****. We towed her 2007 Ford Focus on August 15,2022. Salisbury Police Dept dispatched us for next rotation on this accident. The Salisbury Police Dept sets our tow and storage rates  with Rotation calls. Also she needs a release form from the Salisbury Police Dept because she or someone who was driving her car left the scene of the accident and since that happened that is why a release form is required. I do remember her calling I was out of the office and some how I misplaced her phone number but she should have called back a few hours later. She called 7 days after the accident and fees do start adding up quickly. When a tow service has a vehicle on their lot for 10 days it is required by NCDMV to file a mechanics lien and that is an extra fee. I spoke with ******* Wednesday 9-7-2022 and told her to go get a release form from the Salisbury PD and come get her tag as long she had that release form, she told me she be here Thursday to get the tag. I cannot let her get anything or pay the bill without this release form from the Salisbury PD as it is required since someone or herself left the scene of the accident. I also told her if she wasn't going to pay for her car and was leaving it with us then I needed the title to her car and I wouldn't make her pay the $100.00 for the tag. I would like for her to come get her car and pay the tow bill because I do not want her car.  -Sherri L***
