    I had agreed to have this person dig up and pour new concrete driveway. I paid for half the job up front, the rest to be paid upon completion of job. They tore up my driveway and were supposed to come after the new year to pour the driveway. I called JD and after almost 3 wks finally returned my call and gave me excuses why he hadn't been out to finish the job. I gave up and had to hire another (and more reliable) company. I never heard from Coastland again.
    I have never dealt with a company like this before. I would have appreciated honesty that they couldn't finish the job and it would be better if I hired someone else. But my calls were never returned until after I went through a third party to contact him. It was only then that he finally called me and started with the excuses why he hadn't come back. I never heard from him again. I was left having to find another company. The issue was not money, but poor business practices and unreliability.
