On April 1, 2025, Zoom Drain performed a water heater replacement at my home. This work was arranged, authorized, and contracted through my home warranty company, ****************** not directly with me.Prior to the service, the technician requested I sign an iPad to authorize the work. After the installation was completed, I was asked to sign again, acknowledging the job was finished. I was never informed that signing either document would commit me to personal financial responsibility for the service. On April 3, 2025, Zoom Drain sent me an invoice for $1,360. The invoice included both of my electronic signatures, and only after the work was done did I discover that the invoice text stated I was accepting financial responsibility. This was never disclosed or explained to me beforehand, nor was any cost discussed during the appointment.I contacted ****************** immediately and was told that all costs were fully covered under my home warranty contract, and I do not owe Zoom Drain anything.Despite this, Zoom Drain has continued to send collection messages to me via text and email. On April 27, 2025, they placed a lien on my property for the disputed amount a deeply distressing and inappropriate action based on a contract I did not knowingly or willingly agree to.Desired Outcome:Immediate removal of the lien from my property.Written confirmation from Zoom Drain that I do not owe any money.A halt to all further collection attempts.A formal apology for the misleading conduct and the emotional and financial distress this has caused.Attachments:Invoice from Zoom Drain (with signature details)Communications from ****************** confirming full coverage Proof of lien placement (if available)Copies of collection attempts (text/email)
