    I had a contract for my home renovation. I also asked and was assured by this contractor that he was using all licensed personnel. He failed to get proper permits and used an unlicensed plumber and electrician which resulted in a stop work order. He himself was not licensed and was then expected to find someone licensed to assist him with the completion of this project. He was never able to resolve this situation with the building inspector. He was also expected to give me receipts for all purchases made. He gave me inaccurate receipts (receipts that were not from my renovation) and never resolved this discrepancy. He kept assuring me that he could find someone that could assist him to finish the job. He was unable to do so. After 5 months of trying to work with him to resolve these issues, he was given a deadline. In response to that, became completely incommunicado even after several attempts were made to reach him. Shortly after the deadline came and went without ever hearing from him, I checked on the property to find that he also had removed from the house the new drywall that was purchased with my money and was waiting to be installed.
