Concerning JW Evergreens 4 Riley St Sparta NC 28675 704-902-3923 Have contacted John and Patricia ****** (owners) of JW Evergreens and informed them with phone, text and email that 16 of our 100 concolor firs purchased for resale from JW Evergreens in Sparta just before Thanksgiving this year were losing or had completely lost their needles by 12/12/22. The needles were a deep green in hue. Patricia mentioned that her personal tree, too, had lost many , many needles as well. I accompanied the text with photographs of the "defective" trees, and videos of myself EASILY PULLING OUT THE GREEN NEEDLES OF EACH "DEFECTIVE" TREE BY THE HANDFULL. John ****** (owner) of the farm replied to our complaint by claiming their business was an accredited member of the North Carolina Christmas Tree Association and he accused us of killing the needles ourselves by storing the trees out in the sun and dried up the needles. He would not offer us any path of reconciliation. I sent that individual photographs of the shaded low-sun areas where the trees were stored and displayed. To this date and time, neither Patricia nor John ****** have returned a reply. We believe we should be reimbursed for those trees that we could not sell because of the excessive and/or complete needle loss. This complaint along with photographs and videos are being forwarded to the North Carolina Better Business Bureau, any local or county BBB, and if need be, all BBBs in North Carolina.
