    We are victims of Hurricane ****** in mountains of **. On 10/8/24 ******** **** of WNC Cruz Tree Service agreed to do storm cleanup and tree removal for $8500, saying it'd take 2-3 days to complete. On 10/10/24 He and his crew worked less than 6 hours the first day and said he was finished with the job. When we asked what about the rest of the tree removal, he wanted to roll the trees into ***** and asked for more money. Then he promised to come back and complete the job, but was a no show for a week! Then he came back 7 days later without telling us ahead of time even though we asked him to let us know so we could be there. He ran heavy equipment over the septic system tearing up the yard which now has to be replanted. He was there about 2 hours the second day when he said he was finished again, though he left trees standing, stumps not grinded, and trees in the *****. We had to haul off many trailer loads of trees and debris. We offered to pay him a total of $7000 because of all the work we had to do that should have been completed by him, and now he's threatening to sue us!!!! He will not admit his failures. He just wants the money for the work we had to finish. Altogether he worked about 8 hours on a job that should have taken him 2-3 full workdays. There was also a 15% off all services discount listed on his website that ******** never offered us. This was unfair and deceptive. His website claims specific services for tree removal and storm clean up. He did not fulfill his end of the deal. We have been working for a week to finish the work he did not complete, hauling logs via a wheel ****** and trailer etc. He has caused us tremendous hardship. He also caused us damages in the yard, and we are still waiting to see if the septic system is damaged. He has not apologized for anything.
