      Was employed as a DSP, did not receive training in an appropriate time or manner. 4 months and still could not get the supervisor to come in to complete my Medical Training so I had 2 clients that went without their medication until 1st shift staff could arrive. In my last week, I was beaten and had to chase a client out the front door, he was having behavior episodes because he was not being medicated properly. I informed my supervisor and her response was He didnt hurt you badly did he? as I responded I was physically okay but an incident report needed to be filed, she ignored this. Lied on several occasions saying she would come in to finish my training. I experienced racism for the first time in a work place.. supervisor was communicating with other staff and one of the members told me she was hoping I would just quit. Terrible company to work for, especially in the health field where their only job is to have respect and uphold their responsibilities for their clients.
