      On October 9th, 2024 We called Statesville Glass and Shower Door to Quote us a price for replacing our two front windows. The quote fee charged was $25.00 On sales receipt number 2952. After waiting several weeks and no one calling us, we called Statesville Glass, they sent out two gentlemen to measure our windows. To Date, January 22, 2025, no one has bother to get in touch with us about our windows. We called in early December and still nothing. The Quote is no longer needed and we would like a refund of our $25.00, and we will not recommend or us this business in the future.

      The customer called us 10/9.  We took a $25.00 deposit quote deposit over the phone and made an appointment for 10/11 at 2pm firm.  I sent two men out to look at an arch window the customer wanted to replace.  We ended up quoting a twin window with an arch transom and 9 screens for the customer.  The cost of the job was $12,800, we emailed the quote.  We have not had any communication with customer since then.  We found out that we had some ********* Outlook issues around this time and a lot of people did not receive emails.  We do not know who all did not receive the emails and we did not follow up with this customer.  I usually don't refund a quote fee because that is exactly what it sounds like.  We charge $25.00 for a quote, we come out and give a quote.  If the customer hires us to do the work we credit the $25.00 back to the customer on final invoice.  We did what we were supposed to do other than follow up, which the customer has had 103 days to call, text, email, come by the office,  write a letter and mail it etc. and hasn't done anything except file a report with the BBB.  So...I refunded him his $25.00 because I'm a nice guy and would have done it at anytime if he would have reached out.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      I accept the refund, but you can see the calls we made to them.  No one came out until after 10/25/2024, then we got nothing from them and we called back 11/18/2024 and the lady said the woman who was doing our quote had been out for some reason and they would get back to **.  We seen nor had had any response from them.  We will take the refund and their services are no longer needed on this matter.
