    I wish I had paid better attention to the negative reviews about this company. I chose Affordable Home Repairs because of the A+ rating on the BBB site and a few positive reviews. I never should have ignored the reviews where complaints were made about asking for a lot more money halfway through the repair job because that was exactly what this company did to me. I never realized the sentence Any rotted wood under the door when removed will be an extra charge would mean that the $1750 estimate would change to an $8500 one halfway through the job. 15 hours work for $8500 and less than $500 of that for materials. Someone I spoke with at the BBB called it something similar to bait and switch and was very unprofessional. I probably should have just told the owner NO but I was afraid of what he would do regarding my repair so I just asked him to try to keep the price down. He pretty much had made up his mind though. Do not call Affordable Home Repairs to do anything for you at all. Youll regret it.

    This job was done a year ago not sure why we are getting this response now we told in the begining there was damage that we could not see showed you when we found it gave you a price when we found it gave you the opportunity to get a second estimate you agreed for us to fix it we did you was happy then and paid us you cussed us on our first day there because of hoe we parked and we do not have any other reviews about anything other than we could not get to avjob we never took any money fornot sure whas going on in your life right now but it is not fair to wait a year and then start leaving a review like this
