    On 11/27/23 joshua a******* gave me a price of $2200 to do my 30x130 driveway with 3-4 inches thick with asphalt millings , he only put 1 inch of millings and told me I had to pay another $1,100 to finish the job because he ran out of material, now I got mud coming through the millings a week later basically what he does is a bait and switch scam, im not the only person he done this too.

    The customer was given an estimate over Facebook marketplace by both my aunt and myself. The estimate was given based on measurements from the customer without visually looking at the job. It was explained to the customer by both me and my aunt during this time that his estimate was for $2200 for 2 loads of material delivered spread rolled and sealed. It was also $200 in the estimate to remove grass and dump in the customers dump trailer. The original estimate was for $2400. Upon arrival I knew we would be short on material so as we were spreading the very first load I explained to the customer that we were going to be short on material. I explained to him another load would be $1100 to be able to finish the job. We could have finished the job for additional $700 for half a load because we came up roughly 15-20 feet short. I explained to him if he wanted to get the whole load we could make the rest of the driveway thicker. We went back and forth for a while as far as his misunderstanding of the estimate. At which time we finally agreed to settle on $2000 because the customer did not have more money to finish the job. I gave him a $400 discount because he was upset and felt cheated. He went in the house and came back out with $1900 because that’s all he had. I agreed to the $1900 as payment for the job.

    The guy Josh ******** that owns it is a pathological liar! He promised us I have it in Writing that we would not have any issues with water washing out in a specific area. It has washed out and I messaged him he was to come out. I contacted him back said he was to busy to come out. Now he says I would need to pay another $900 to bring in more asphalt Millings. He is the one that promised it would not wash out
    ( I have in writing) and he is the one that advised us how much we needed originally. He would Not produce the tickets to prove the number of loads he delivered. He has done similar things to other customers. He is delinquent to the NC Secretary of State in filings.

    We put this parking lot in for the customer roughly 6-8 months ago. At the time I put the material down I advise the customer she needed another load that there was some places that were thin with material. She refused due to budget and money. This parking lot has 6-8 months of driving and weather wear and tear on it. It is a very small place that has eroded back down to the based layer of material we put down due to material being thin. I spoke with the customer and I did go and look at the property. I informed her that she could add another load of material and we could fix it. She is wanting me to do it for free and that is not an option. I would be glad to have produced the load tickets if she had asked. The same way I did for the other customer that filed a complaint a couple years ago. (That complaint is where she is getting this information from). My secretary of state fillings is up to date. At this point I no longer want to do business with this customer.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    Look how long it took him to respond. I have text messages that I provided in my complaint where the owner of this company promised it would not wash out. It washed out within 3 months. No driving was done on this as no one lives at this property. The owner is known for shady business practices
