    What was committed to me:
    - INSPECT EXISTING EXTERIOR SIDING AND REPLACE ANY BAD WOOD @ COST. INSTALL NEW FOAMCORE UNDERLAYMENT AND NRW NORANDEX PREMIUM VINYL SIDING. Granite in Color. INSTALL NEW PREMIUYM CUSTOM CUT HIDDEN VENTED SOFFIT AND FASCIA SYSTEM. WRAP WINDOW AND DOOR FRAMES. WRAP GABLE VENTS. INSTALL NECESSARY LITE BLOCKS. INSTALL 4 NEW SETS RAISED PANEL SHUTTERS. COVER PORCH CEILING. Gutters/Down spouts on house all around. CLEAN UP AND HAUL AWAY ALL DEBRIS. 5 YR CONTRACTOR LABOR WARRANTY.
    - I was told that they would be working on my house 6-8 weeks from the time the order was placed on June 3, 2022.

    What is the nature of the dispute:
    - There has been 0 communication on R&R of the Triad behalf. I have called a few times and no response. I called again did speak to Mr. ******* Early August and he told me he had been traveling to celebrate his mom’s birthday and confirmed that all the product was back and he would be doing my house with in 2 weeks. Since that day, again that has been 0 communication from R&R and at this point I just want a refund for the $5,700 that I have paid.

    Whether or not the business had tried to resolve the problem:
    - No! There has been 0 communication on R&R’s behalf since June 3, 2022.

    MET WITH MR. **** SATURDAY 11-26-22, AND WE ARRIVED TO AN AGREEMENT I WOULD RETURN HIS DOWNPAYMENT IN A SPECIFIED MANNER AGREEABLE WITH HIM. SORRY FOR ALL THE CONFUSION SURROUNDING THIS MATTER AS HE SAID HE AND YOU HAD TRIED TO REACH ME A NUMBER OF TIMES. I RECEIVED 1 CALL FROM HIM ABOUT 3 MOS. AGO AND I INFORMED HIM I WAS RUNNING BEHIND AND PLEASE HOLD ON AS I WAS TRAVELING BETWEEN KNOXVILLE WITH MY MOTHERS BIRTHDAY AND THEN SHE GOT SICK AND EVENTUALLY PASSED  4 WEEKS AGO. BUT, MY CREW WAS STILL RUNNING JOBS AND TRYING TO CATCH UP AS I HAD SOLD 15 JOBS DURING THE PANDEMIC MONTHS AND AS WE ALL KNOW, PRODUCTION OF MATERIALS HAD PRACTICALLY STOPPED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MATERIALS STARTED COMING IN SO FAST THAT WE GOT BEHIND. ALL OF MY CUSTOMERS HUNG IN WITH ME AND STAYED PATIENT BECAUSE MY COMPANY HAS SUCH A GOOD REPUTATION AND I HAVE BEEN IN THIS BUSINESS FOR 40 YRS. SO THEY BELIEVED IN ME AND I HAD TO TAKE AND DO 1 JOB @ A TIME AS CREW HELP DIMISHED SIGNIFICANTLY AS WE ALL KNOW WHAT CAME ABOUT DURING THE PANDEMIC AND AFTERWARDS IN ALL BUSINESSES, NOT JUST MINE. ALSO HE SAID YOU HAD TRIED TO REACH ME A NUMBER OF TIMES AND HAD SENT EMAILS AND CORRESPONDENCE, BUT I ASSURE YOU I NEVER RECEIVED THEM OR OTHER CALLS FROM HIM AS HE STATED. I WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO PLEASE VERIFY AS I HAVE RECEIVED A LOT OF CALLS FROM A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE DURING THIS TIME, SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I NEVER RECEIVED OTHER NUMEROUS CALLS HE MADE OR YOUR CORRESPONDENCE, HE SAID YOU DID. I BELIEVE YOU CAN LOOK BACK @ MY PAST YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH ALL MY CUSTOMERS AND YOUR BBB OFFICE TO SEE IV"E TRIED AND HAVE AN EXCELLENT  RECORD WITH YOUR OFFICE.....SINCERELY, ******* ******* @ R & R OF THE TRIAD

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I accept it the full refund of $5,700. 
    Not all of the statements that Mr. ******** gave in his rebuttal do I agree with, however the most important thing is we came to the agreement about the full refund of $5700.  I do ask that this refund is returned in full no later than December 9.  I'm willing to meet in person to get the certified check on that day. Again my intent of reaching out to the BBB only came after not able to reach Mr ******* via phone (I never stated that I sent emails). It was never to bash R&R it was only for safety reasons and to ensure I was covered.
