    Absolutely awful ER. Husband was brought in by ambulance for a broken tibia. Was told by the EMTs that he would be transported to Grace ********************** to be evaluated by the orthopedic surgeon. We got to Valdese hospital and after being told it was a broken tibia, we were told it would all be out patient, to go home and see Carolina ***** Monday. His prescription for medication was sent to a closed pharmacy and then no one could do anything about it after we left. After 2 more calls to 911, another ambulance ride to Grace **********************, we learned he had compartment syndrome. Every doctor, nurse, cna, physical therapist and even his ortho surgeon was in complete shock that he was sent home like that. We will be looking into a malpractice case. He couldve lost his foot due to NO ONE caring and him just being a number to them. Also to add the nurse we saw was completely uneducated. She was reading right off of the discharge papers and didnt even try to help him into the car.
