Dr Manning’s passing left my daughter with unfinished orthodontic work which includes an overbite and unnecessary periodontic work. His lack of follow up and delayed dental work caused my daughter to have resending gums that may be now an issue for a periodontist. Our treatment was paid in full more than 4 years ago. My daughter was supposed to have a 3 year contract and now she’s 22 and still has her braces on ( 7 years later). The keeper of her records will continue the work but at an extra cost which is very unfair as the contract with Dr Manning with a cost of $5,900 should have been completed a long time ago. The office of Dr Manning didn’t even advise us of his death until several months later which is disheartening and on top of that they didn’t even provide clear follow up on their plan to honor the specifics of the contract. Instead they sent a notice to say they filed for bankruptcy and there was nothing I could do to get my daughters treatment finished besides paying more money that I had already paid. I’m looking for help on getting either half of the money I paid to help pay for the work elsewhere or just some guidance on what can be done
